The last three months have brought several strategic agreements to Playtech, the world’s largest supplier of online gaming and sports betting software. The gambling technology giant has extended a bingo services partnership with Jumpman Gaming, entered a multi-state deal with Unibet and gained new accreditation from GamCare.
However, on October 27th, Playtech plc announced a major rollout of its multichannel technology with Holland Casino in the newly regulated market of Netherlands, a Dutch state-owned company with monopoly on gambling in the country.
Just like many big names in the industry, Playtech has finally joined Holland Casinos’ growing list of technology suppliers, tasked with delivering full turnkey multichannel technologies and games.
Unlike Red Rake Gaming, Microgaming, Relax Gaming, Pariplay and Gamomat, to name a few software developers who recently entered the country’s marketplace, Playtech will launch its entire IMS platform, including sportsbook, casino, live dealers and poker products.
This agreement is the first of its kind in the Netherlands and builds on the company’s track record of developing regulated iGaming markets.
Although it was established some 45 years ago, Holland Casino is still owned by the state, scattered around 14 land-based locations throughout the country. According to the recent statistics, some six million guests visit these venues per year.
On that note, the Dutch state-owned gambling brand is famous for offering its clients a safe and responsible gaming environment with an exceptional combination of entertainment and hospitality.
Under the terms of this agreement, Playtech will build a new live casino studio, dedicated exclusively to the existing Holland Casino site in Scheveningen. As reported, the new studio was developed in close collaboration with multiple teams and it should strengthen the strategic relationship between the two companies.
Not only will it offer Dutch players direct access to the Playtech Live platform via the casino website, but also Live Blackjack and Roulette, Baccarat and the scalable Blackjack version of All Bets.
“We are delighted to announce the launch of this strategic co-operation. Essential to Playtech’s success is our ability to partner with the leading entertainment companies in the most compelling and exciting markets,” commented Mor Weizer, Playtech CEO.
As one of the country’s pillars and synonyms for leisure, Holland Casino continues to develop in accordance with the latest standards. The management is extremely proud of shaping the market in compliance with the responsible multi gambling propositions, focused on sustainable entertainment experience.
Erwin van Lambaart, chief executive at Holland Casino, isn’t hiding the fact that the venue will ultimately reach new levels of recreational gaming in the future thanks to Playtech and its versatile product palette.
Lambaart also lauded Playtech’s unrivaled multichannel technology, as its strong track record in delivering industry leading software to newly regulated markets is an exciting opportunity for a long and successful relationship.
