One More Market Conquered in March!
One of the most productive gaming entertainment suppliers, Play’n GO secured a critical Remote Gambling Operator’s License (B2B) issued by the Licensing Authority of Gibraltar. With this certificate, the studio’s finest online casino games will become available to a wider array of players from all over the world.
As a small reminder, this is the company’s second new market entry this month. In mid-March, the provider was awarded a supplier license by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) thanks to which its wealthy collection of games will be made available to Ontarians. Last year was also marked with significant licenses which enabled the company to set foot in the Netherlands and Greece.
Another Milestone Achieved
Issued by the Licensing Authority of Gibraltar, the Remote Gambling Operator’s License (B2B) will enable Play’n GO to offer its games to all the brands which hold B2C licensing from Gibraltar. Starting April 1, punters will get a unique opportunity to explore the exciting world depicted in Raging Rex 2, Reactoonz, Book of Dead, Rise of Olympus, and many other adventurous slot games.
Commenting on the newly-acquired license, Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer for Play’n GO announced:
“Play’n GO’s ability to work with operators across jurisdictions in regulated markets all around the world is unrivaled, especially with the addition of a Gibraltarian license. Add in the power of our full content portfolio, in addition to the strength of our technology, and operators now recognize the true value of working with a supplier that is laser-focused on regulated markets.”
Being one of the most respected jurisdictions, Gibraltar has a reputation of a rigorous iGaming regulator and therefore represents an important acknowledgment of the studio’s expansion strategy. It is bound to bring them new partners and strengthened relationships with the existing associates.
Rapid Global Expansion
Upon receiving a license issued by AGCO, the forward-thinking developer was granted an opportunity to deliver products to residents of Ontario. As of April 4, 2022, when the market officially opens, players will be able to check out blockbusters such as Tome of Madness, Rise of Olympus, and many more.
On top of that…
…in November 2021, the supplier celebrated a huge success in the newly-regulated Dutch market. More than 200 premium releases were delivered to multiple gambling platforms, including the leading operators such as Holland Casino and Batavia.nl. As a small reminder, the market went live in October 2021.
In May 2021, the studio was granted a license on behalf of the Athens-based Hellenic Gaming Commission, greenlighting the company to operate in Greece. The Green Knight, Rich Wilde & The Amulet of the Dead were just some of the titles that hit the shelves of local online casinos.
Worth noting is that…
…the license arrived shortly after significant regulatory upgrades which took place in the Greek market. Some of the measures include limitations on online slot games, such as a €2 maximum bet per spin, a minimum three-second average spin time, and a max game win of €70,000 per round.
