I’m no expert poker player that’s for sure but I do enjoy a few hands of Video Poker. I recently went to the land based casino and watched as a friend raked in hundreds playing on a Video Poker machine. Why did I waste my time with slots? I should’ve followed her straight to poker. I’ve never played any Top Game poker online so now was as good a time as any to check it out at Black Diamond.
I chose Deuces Wild and bet $5 per hand. My first mistake was mistaking a spade for a club. I went for a flush and realized I had screwed it up. I made up for it with four of a kind on the next hand for $20. The four of a kind hands just kept rolling in. Overall, I was doing pretty decently. I was at least getting my bet back on most hands. I was dealt a flush at one point which was whacky to look at because of the wild deuces.
I was hoping for a really good hand so I could brag to my friend and show her that two can play at this game. I switched over to Jacks or Better and it all went to hell in a hand basket.
I didn’t earn any bragging rights this time but I will. Oh I know I will!
