Manhattan Slots Review

Sometimes you just need a break. We could use a break from work or a break from anything at all. In my case, I needed a little break from slots because they were killing me. I was on a really bad losing streak so I opted for video poker. I went to play Double Double Bonus Poker at Manhattan Slots.

I loaded a $100 chip and bet the minimum of $3 per hand. Most the hands were complete duds but I did hit some three of a kinds which paid $3 and a few hands that brought two of a kind for $1 each. I was unimpressed with what was going on but I kept at it thinking something was about to happen.

At one point I was down nearly $50 and I wager my $3. I was dealt 4 Queens. I scrambled to hold them all and it paid $45. Lucky for me, I was playing 3-hand poker which turned my payout into $135!

I hadn’t been playing for very long so I made a deal with myself that with my balance now up to $292, I would play down to $250 and run. I hit a Full House with K’s and 5’s and several hands of 3 of a kind. I needed a little more excitement so I raised my bet to $15.

After 5 hands or so, I was at $255. I figured I play just one more hand at $3. I managed to pull off a few more hands but ended up giving in at $251.

$151 profit was not a bad day for taking a break with video poker.
