NetEnt’s Hall of Gods has awarded a fantastic win to one lucky player just in time for the biggest shopping season of the year. The recent jackpot marks the second major cash prize awarded by the slot in the last six months. An equally impressive amount was previously won by a Norwegian player this past June. The win took place at popular online casino, Casumo. The multi-million winnings amounted to a total of €7,205,687.82!
Neil, from Aberdeen, Scotland is the fortunate individual whose life was changed. He took a chance on the desktop version of the game. The Norse mythology-inspired slot is one of the most popular progressive jackpot titles out there, featuring 5-reels, and offering the industry’s largest global online jackpots. There are three jackpots up for grabs. It is also equipped with scatter symbols and an expanding wild.
Chief Product Officer of NetEnt, Henrik Fagerlund, commented, “It’s so pleasing for us that one of our games has hopefully made someone very happy this holiday season.”
“Hall of Gods™ has proven to be a favourite amongst NetEnt fans and has now claimed its second jackpot winner in the space of six months, we hope our popular jackpot games will continue to reward players with excitement and large pay-outs,” he continued.
The game is highly popular among NetEnt fans, and at this rate, perhaps we can expect even more life-changing payouts from the title in the near future. Are you next?
If Hall of Gods isn’t your cup of tea, feel free to take a spin on any of the brand’s other pooled jackpot games, including Mega Fortune™ and Arabian Nights™. In fact, Arabian Nights™ set a Guinness World Record for the largest payout on an online slot in January of 2013. It reached €17.86 million.

I enjoy playing progressive slots more than the lottery as they are more entertaining and engaging and one can also win smaller amounts more often. The payout percentage is of course better with such slot machines than with picking one's lottery numbers and hoping for the big score. Being on easy street would be nice...

But one has to be realistic and admit that only the lucky few ever experience the life changing mega wins.
