Back MRG Enters European Gaming and Betting Association

Innovative iGaming Group and fast-growing casino business with licenses in the UK, Denmark, Italy, Latvia, and Malta, MRG, has become the latest member of the European Gaming and Betting Association. The Brussels-based industry body represents leading operators within the regulated EU markets. EGBA also collaborates with national authorities, governments, as well as stakeholders to constantly improve regulations and digital offerings for EU citizens.

“The Industry Must Work Closer Together”

Creating a safe and, more importantly, reliable gaming environment within the European Union is one of the main missions at EGBA. The association is also keen on taking the lead role regarding responsible and sustainable guidelines, since its members are regularly audited for remote gambling measures…

According to MRG’s CEO, Per Norman, the company shares EGBA’s standpoint on intensified cooperation with other leading gaming operators, since producing safe digital foundations requires dependable partners and innovative strategies. Norman comments further:

“Green Gaming has been a core of our strategy since the foundation of the Group and we are enthusiastic about contributing to the development of more Green iGaming services across Europe.”

Ever-growing Markets

Currently, there are more than 20 million EU consumers in EGBA’s database. With constant increasing of digital entertainment services, the number of customers is growing year after year. Maarten Haijer, secretary general is very pleased that Mr Green’s parent company has entered the association, saying that its experience will help reforming the well-regulated EU market. Haijer said:

“MRG brings a strong profile of responsibility, and together we will work towards developing attractive regulated markets that are capable of channeling consumers and providing a high level of consumer protection. It’s an exciting but challenging time for European operators and we are pleased that reputable operators like MRG recognize the benefits of working closer together through the EGBA in order to meet these challenges.”

As a reminder, MRG was recently fined by the Dutch regulator for IP blocking within the country. We would appreciate your opinion on the topic, so feel free to comment below.
