For those of you who are not familiar with work of less-known casino vendors, Green Jade, whose ownership belongs entirely to the Swedish-listed MRG Group, has rolled out its first video slot – Hammer of Fortune.
The title is already live on Mr Green’s platform, where its 6x4 playboard dominates the already overpumped catalog with industry’s classiest of games. Brin, the main character and the most important symbol in the story, is responsible for taking care of the village, as it suffers constant attacks from an army of rock trolls...
According to the studio, the release features “an industry-first mechanic,” meaning that players have a special hammer at their disposal, whose power to smash other symbols is what actually creates new chances for bigger wins.
To clarify, this component of the game adds extra volatility, allowing players to “strategize by saving hammer blows for bigger prizes or simply smash at every opportunity to boost balance.”
Managing director at the software company, Benedict McDonagh, gives us the first game insights by saying:
“Hammer of Fortune is the ideal game to introduce Green Jade Games to the market. With its focus on entertainment through storytelling, and player control through smashing symbols, we are proud of the high degree of quality and relevant differentiation achieved.”
McDonagh adds that the studio’s strategy is to always work closer with operators, as targeting a wider demographic and reaching new audiences is crucial for the genre. He further comments:
“Hammer of Fortune is the gateway into the future of gambling games. This 'first of its kind' completable state game definitely delivers the innovation, entertainment and engagement that we want to offer our players.
We have already seen impressive results following release and we are excited to see more cutting-edge content from our new partners in the future.”
Jacqui Gatt, head of Mr Green casino, is extremely excited about the new launch, as it represents the first title in a series of adventure slots whose interface will feature a non-slot configuration. Players will be granted greater degree of control that combines not only gambling and video game mechanics, but complex storytelling and never-before-seen features.
MRG was recently admitted to EGBA (European Gaming and Betting Association) and it expanded partnerships with Kambi, Nolimit City and other leading brands from the iGaming sector. However, the company was also fined with €312,500 by the Dutch regulator for IP blocking in the Netherlands in September 2018.
