Leading Aggregator Granted iGaming License for Netherlands
Following Microgaming’s latest batch of exciting characters and exclusive releases for October with hair-raisingly rich features, the provider is back with spectacular news!
On October 6th, the aggregator has officially entered the newly regulated Dutch online gaming market, making it eligible to launch a diverse array of mega popular games with licensed operators in the country.
Among the first customers is state owned gaming operator Nederlandse Loterij, as well as its casino brand TOTO, as they received Dutch remote gambling licenses last week and green light to go live with the provider’s content.
More Than 200 Games Already Available!
As reported, Microgaming will introduce some 200 exclusive titles to the market, including a selection of releases launched this October. All gaming products are available via the company’s far-reaching aggregation platform, and players will have access to both new and legendary online slots. As a special treat, a range of popular progressive jackpot titles will also be on offer.
Nevertheless, apart from Microgaming’s exclusive content on the platform, customers in the newly regulated market will also find a selection of more than 60 partner games from Inspired Entertainment, Spearhead Studios, ORYX and Stakelogic.
A selection of titles from Spinstars is coming soon thanks to the recently announced partnership on 28 September.
To enter the market on time, Microgaming assisted its operators with the license application process earlier in the year. The company has since supported its partners with comprehensive documentation and information to help with preparations for the new regulations in the Netherlands.
Director of markets at Microgaming, Julie Allison, briefly commented on the provider’s latest market entry:
“The move represents another significant step in Microgaming’s ongoing expansion into key regulated markets.”
Allison revealed that the newly formed Dutch market brings a wealth of opportunities for Microgaming and its customers. The company looks forward to supporting the growth of all content distributors in the country in the future and remains dedicated to responsible gambling at all times, added the director of marketing, and lauded the new legislation’s comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to player protection.
1X2 Network Already Licensed
Another major aggregator and contributor to the iGaming industry, 1X2 Network, has also entered the newly regulated market of the Netherlands on October 5th.
Operators providing their services within the borders of this country have been given green light to introduce the company’s products developed in collaboration with Iron Dog Studios and 1X2gaming.
The first titles to roll out are popular hits like Megaways Jack, Rock the Reels Megaways, 1 Million Megaways BC, Battle Maidens TM Cleopatra, Book of Loki and Smoking Hot Fruits.

Wait till you see other providers joining the most prospective market in iGaming like Yggdrasil, Netent or Play’n GO... it’s gonna get quite competitive.
