Two years after teaming up with Malta-based iGaming operator Rootz, the privately-held gambling software company from the Isle of Man, Microgaming, is extending cooperation by joining forces with Wheelz – a new trailblazing member of the network.
The agreement is based on content distribution, allowing the next-generation casino operator to include retailer’s entire portfolio, expanding all the way to recently launched hit titles Golden Stallion and Diamond King Jackpots.
A Thriving Partnership
Rootz and Microgaming first joined together back in 2019 when the Scandinavia servicing iGaming company launched its headline casino, Wildz. This brand was soon followed by the arrival of Caxino in 2020.
As announced, Wheelz will be powered by the same state-of-the-art technology as its sister sites, while the casino’s library will be stuffed with Microgaming’s immense catalog of supreme iGaming content.
The agreement encompasses a growing database of products from exclusive independent studios as well, responsible for large monthly updates of 20+ new releases. Among the first titles to go live on the platform are Golden Stallion and Diamond King Jackpots from Northern Lights Gaming and SpinPlay Games, but other exclusive slots from PearFiction, Just for the Win, All41 and other contributors will soon follow.
Initially launching with 125 Microgaming games, Wheelz is also in the position to use up-to-date AI and automation, ensuring to deliver a truly engaging and highly personalized player experience across the entire sector.
Neil Bancroft, head of partnerships at Microgaming said:
“We are thrilled to extend our successful partnership with Rootz, an operator which has found the formula when it comes to delivering a top-rated casino experience for its players. Its state-of-the-art technology combined with Microgaming’s vast content offering makes for a winning partnership. Wheelz has what it takes to become a firm player favorite, and with David Hasselhoff as the face of the brand, it will do so with added glitz and a little Hollywood glamor.”
Automating the Game
As the new era of iGaming establishes worldwide, Rootz Ltd. leads the way and stays ahead of its competition thanks to a range of forward-thinking partnerships with trendsetting companies.
For example, last year in September, the company signed a global strategic agreement with MuchBetter, an award-winning payment app. Two months later in December, Rootz launched the leading marketing compliance tool kit, GiG Comply, in unison with Gaming Innovation Group.
Lasse Rantala, Rootz Limited CEO commented the partnership with Microgaming by saying:
“Microgaming has been instrumental in the success we have enjoyed with our first two online casino brands, Wildz and Caxino. Given our rapid growth, expectations are high for Wheelz, and with the support of Microgaming and its market leading content, we are confident the brand will be as successful as its sister sites.”
Rantala added:
“I’d like to thank Microgaming for the support and assistance its team has provided Rootz to date and look forward to even greater success now that Wheelz is live to players in markets around the world.”
Rootz also collaborates with up-and-coming software providers Nolimit City, Swintt, Kalamba, as well as NetEnt, Yggdrasil and other market-leading brands.
