Italian Gaming Operator Sisal Gains Ezugi’s Live Dealer Games

Ezugi, provider of live dealer content and solutions for online casinos, has just improved their Italian market footprint by signing a deal with local lottery giant Sisal.

Last week, the lottery brand has launched Ezugi’s live roulette offering on their online casino and sports betting portal, while in the coming weeks, the launch of blackjack and punt banco is expected.

Massive Expansion

For Ezugi’s expansion plan, Italy plays the pivotal role - in 2020, the country’s online gaming market grew 46.5% while in recent years, in surrounding markets and those around the world, the popularity of live dealer games also exploded.

Ezugi has live dealer studios in nine locations in Europe, Asia and South America from which they broadcast their games. They also offer fully customizable platforms, meaning Sisal games use Italian dealers with a very local feel and look.

The new deal will expand on Ezugi’s most recent strategic partnership with operators from Italy, but will significantly enhance their footprint in the country.

Significant Deal

As for Sisal, they are one of the major B2C operators in all of Italy. Among other things, they run the SuperEnalotto lottery. The brand even announced it would bid against Camelot for the UK National Lottery which made some headlines in the UK.

Sisal was founded back in 1945 by a sports journalist and was the first licensed betting operator in the country. They have more than 39,000 retail locations across Italy today.

In December, Ezugi has announced that they have broadened their portfolio with Sic Bo for the first time ever.
