Greek Players Get Access to One of the Largest iGaming Platforms

The world’s leading game aggregator, SOFTSWISS, has obtained a Manufacturer Suitability License from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, allowing it to legally provide B2B gambling services in the Greek market.

As reported, the A.1 category license will enable the software development company to offer its services to gambling operators in Greece for 7 years. The licensing conditions also state that SOFTSWISS will be in a position to legally provide local online casinos with access to the content from 12 gaming studios.

Greek License is Result of Hard Work

Aside from its powerful drive to constantly upgrade the platform and business model with various aggregation advantages like jackpots, cryptocurrency support and payment commodities, the rebranded SOFTSWISS has also obtained a Greek B2C gaming license for its first partner project in the Greek iGaming market earlier this year.

The legislation’s rules in regard to licensing state, that the company can now operate in Greece, but only players with Greek passports, IDs and bank accounts, as well as permanent residents of the country are legally permitted to access the portfolio.

The official adoption of new regulations by the country government occurred in October 2019. As a result, the Hellenic Gaming Commission opened the application process for new online gaming licenses at the end of 2020.

According to the new rules, there are two explicit types of operating licenses; one for online gambling and one for online betting. In addition, the new rules provide both B2C operating licenses and B2B online gambling solution provider licenses.

Teaming up with Hölle Games

At the end of this month, SOFTSWISS is adding another key member to its remarkable collection of providers. The company has sealed a partnership with Hölle Games, a German studio that recently published Winter Bells.
