Back GiG to Launch First In-House Developed Game on Own Operators

Gaming Innovation Group (GIG) has announced the launch of its first in-house developed game, Wild Reels, under the new product line, GiG Games. The line is part of GiG’s Casino Services, which are offered to other operators on a revenue-share basis.

Wild Reels has been already launched onto GiG’s own internal operators under the “soft launch” label (translates into “still undergoing a testing phase”). The final version of the game will be launched as soon as it has been found to demonstrate excellence, in line with GiG’s high standards. The process is GiG’s regular new game launch procedure, which encompasses company’s obtainment of the MGA license for games.

GiG Games: behind the Scenes

What is “GiG Games,” again? The company has been developing the concept - which includes slots and table games - since 2017. The idea was introduced with the aim of achieving the consistency of cost and business... not to mention launching GiG to the spotlight of iGaming. As things stand now, they are highly likely to succeed.

Further out, GiG Games is planned to go live, thus enabling third-party solutions to gain access to the fusion. By doing so, it hopes to increase both efficiency and productivity - by frequently launching multiple games.

When precisely the iGaming miracle will be coming up, however, remains to be seen. What is well known, on the other hand, is that other games studios will be allowed to build their respective games onto the GiG platform.

Overall, GiG predicts that a total of six to eight of its own games will have been launched by H1 2019. In addition, the company is counting on a number (unspecified) of additional games through collaborations with external developers.

Everything considered, we’re guessing the platform is to take off anywhere between now and the conclusion of H1 2019… so stay tuned!
