National Lottery of Malta Back to the Status from 2004

After signing a license agreement with IGT in May and officially entering West Virginia, the industry’s fastest advancing iGaming software provider, EveryMatrix, is back to announce a partnership with the National Lottery of Malta.

Through this arrangement with a subsidiary of IZI Group plc, the company will have exclusive rights to provide online games, manage and operate the national lottery of Malta. This is also the first time in 18 years that the Maltese National Lottery will be run by a fully-owned Maltese company.

Lottery to Integrate IGT Retail Transaction Engine

As previously arranged, the National Lottery plc has chosen International Game Technology (IGT) as its lottery technology provider. Under the terms of this agreement, EveryMatrix will supply the lottery with its suite of online products.

Among the company’s long list of IT solutions for online casinos are also IGT retail transaction engine and CasinoEngine, which will be integrated into the platform for its better performance.

Thanks to IGT’s Aurora Anywhere, the National Lottery’s draw-based games will be available online on both desktop and mobile-focusing devices any time.

According to Franco DeGabriele, CCO of National Lottery plc, the lottery is finally “coming home” after 18 years since the privatization in 2004. DeGabriele promised a great deal of investments in the systems over the upcoming months to ensure that the service always meets the highest standards and is compliant with rigorous frameworks.

EveryMatrix Acquires Leapbit – A Sports Betting Provider

Meanwhile, the leading B2B iGaming technology provider EveryMatrix has finalized the acquisition of sports betting developer Leapbit.

This merger is to strengthen the Group’s sports betting product OddsMatrix with an advanced and proven retail offering. Through the company’s latest acquisition, EveryMatrix will elevate its online-first OddsMatrix platform to a true omnichannel iGaming solution, concluded the 2008 founded provider from its headquarters in Malta.
