Yggdrasil’s proven technology and global distribution network GATI is adding another name to its roster, as an emerging studio Bang Bang selects the supplier’s YG Masters program and business strategy to improve its positioning on the international iGaming scene.
Among the latest partners to join the Swedish supplier’s exclusive and rapidly growing program are also DreamTech Gaming, 4ThePlayer and Northern Lights. As a reminder, the network enables independent studios to design, develop and distribute content by using proven technologies and toolkits, preconfigured and regulation-ready for greater market reach.
More Premium Games Coming
Entering the distributor’s advanced GATI network will allow Bang Bang to apply standardized technology solutions by Yggdrasil and design games anywhere in the world. This unique system allows YG Masters associates to significantly improve global expansion and find new ways to increase retention.
The studio is quite new on the market and it was only recently established by a team with a wealth of experience. Its strategy is to develop games with mechanics that are user convenient and easy to understand. Yggdrasil has recognized the company’s potential (as with Digitain) and their future cooperation will include support regarding compliance, faster distribution and commercialization amongst other things.
Head of partner strategy and sourcing, Stuart McCarthy shared more details about the agreement:
“We are thrilled to welcome Bang Bang Games to the YG Masters family. We have been keeping an eye on Bang Bang for some time now and have been impressed with the team and the game mechanics they are developing. It’s going to be very exciting to see the Bang Bang team carve their place in the industry using our unique GATI technology as a go-to market, and business strategy enabler.”
At the Forefront of Innovation
New-age studios like Bang Bang are well-aware of Yggdrasil’s high quality programs and distribution opportunities, as stated by Frank McPolin, managing director. Many up and coming names in the online gaming sector are opting for GATI and YG Masters, including TrueLab, Azure Tech, Skyrocket Entertainment, Black Cow Technology and other emerging brands.
“Yggdrasil is at the forefront of innovation, and we are very excited to enter into this partnership which will allow us to accelerate our global portfolio reach using Yggdrasil’s standardized GATI technology as key enabler,” added McPolin.
The managing director isn’t hiding optimism when it comes to working closely with a relevant software provider in the iGaming industry. The company’s key members have been huge fans of games like Vikings Go Berzerk, Rainbow Ryan, Valley of the Gods and Ozwin’s Jackpots, whose goal is to produce the exact same caliber and deliver it to players in worldwide markets.
“We have been big fans of Yggdrasil for many years, and knowing that prominent, high caliber studios are already part of the YG Masters programme, puts us in great company. We are confident we can bring something different to the Yggdrasil distribution network and can’t wait to start showing the world what we’re made of,” concluded McPolin.
Among the latest releases from Yggdrasil are WildPops, All Star Knockout and Lucky Neko, a slot inspired by the Japanese Daruma dolls and packed with fortune-finding felines.

New studio stepping up already? Wow, it seems that the program really gives good results. Not familiar with Bang Bang, but I reckon this will change in the future. Yggdrasil has a brilliant strategy to promote fresh names in online gaming, that’s for sure.
