As a Friday there were developments in the situation between jurisdiction Antigua and Barbuda and the United States as it read a statement to the World Trade Organisation Dispute Settlement Body in Geneva.
The statement described the frustration felt by islanders with regard to the US’s delays in handling the aftermath of WTO dispute panel rulings which have continued to support the Antiguan case that US online gambling bans violated international trade agreements.
It is unclear what the Antiguans hope to gain with the release of the statement. The US Trade Representative had not responded to the statement as of the time this article was written.
