Consideration for the restriction of online gambling is on the table for Singapore lawmakers according to deputy minister of Home Affairs, S. Iswaran.
Online gambling could "....become a source or conduit of funds for other illegal activities and syndicated crime", Iswaran said.
Iswaran also said that law enforcement would pursue action against facilitators, middle-men and service providers.
In addition to two licensed casinos, the Totalisator Board is the only other licensed operator in Singapore.
