A PlayNow online casino site is launched by the Manitoba government, and as previous announcements indicated, it is being operated in partnership with British Columbia.
The site will be offering gaming services to Manitobans only, although some will enable people to play poker against other people in Canada.
According to Manitoba Lotteries, local punters already spend $37 million on unregulated international sites, so this will be a good way to keep the revenue in Manitoba.
