Back NetEnt Named Official Supplier of British Columbia

We’ve got some pretty big news to share about NetEnt. Just recently, the brand has been approved to serve as the official supplier to the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), aka, the only licensed gaming and lottery operator in the province. The supplier gained approval from The Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).

The way it works in Canada, is that each province has its own licensing system for regulation. The BCLC serves as a Crown corporation, which is owned by the province of British Columbia. All of its profits go toward funding communities, education, and health care.

NetEnt President and CEO, Per Eriksson commented, “I am very pleased that we have reached yet another important milestone in our expansion on regulated markets. We are the online casino supplier with the largest presence on regulated markets in terms of number of licensed and certification that we hold, and entering the province of British Columbia in Canada is another important step for us.”

This news follows up the announcement of a unique project from the brand, having just kicked off its latest web series. The company has come forth with an exciting 8-episode web series it’s calling, The Challenge. The purpose? The series is supposed to showcase just how awesome it is to be a NetEnt employee. The episodes feature employee experiences as they hike to the top of a mountain in the European Alps. The catch? They have no idea they have been chosen for the challenge, and the supplier goes to great lengths to surprise those selected. We’ll keep you posted on the latest episodes!
