New payment solution for US non-gambling gamers
It appears that US users of Virgin Gaming's non-gambling gaming platform, where members can play against each other in an attempt to reach cash prizes, may be able to benefit from a new financial option, as the company recently announced that it has entered a partnership with a real-time payment option for ecommerce that allows users to fund a digital wallet or pay for digital goods using online bank accounts, Mazooma, for online bank transfer payments.
Thanks to the deal, Virgin’s players will be able to use funds directly from their bank accounts for cash-based tournament and head-to-head game play.
According to Virgin Gaming’s CFT Harp Gahunia, “Mazooma is an ideal payment option for our target customer demographic. Not all of our gamers have access to credit cards, but they do have bank accounts. Mazooma lets us reach this entirely new player base.”
