Vince Gray affirms that the bill was completely discussed
A former mayor Vince Gray used an hour long interview with Bruce DePuyt of Newstalk to disprove the DC councilor Jack Evans’ claims that the bill to legalize online gambling in Washington DC hadn’t been shared with council members before it was decided to be a part of a budget bill in December last year.
Vince Gray said that the decision was made during his last days as chairman and that an appropriate amount of time to analyze the internet gambling plan was given, adding that it "was very much at the forefront". He also emphasised that Congress had plenty of time to deliberate, but hasn’t done anything within the timeframe.
