Rostov No Longer Acceptable Gambling Location in Russia

The news today reported of a success achieved by those who opposed to the nomination of Rostov as one of Russia's four acceptable land gambling regions, as the south western region has been removed from the gambling permitted list.

Through the State Duma lower house and the Federation Council upper house, Russian President Dimitry Medvedev has signed off on legislation, removing the region from the list of permissible gambling zones.

Based on the new legislation, the government is allowed to remove a gambling zone before the agreed ten year period expires.
