Welcome to the process of creating the most famous ultimate killing machine. After several releases based on blockbuster action movies, Stakelogic introduced another video slot based on a well-known PTSD war veteran – John Rambo. 

Rambo video slot features a standard 5x3 playing grid with 20 active paylines, on which a punter will try to form regular winning combinations – from left to right. 

Feature wise, you can expect expandable wilds, scatters, Free Spins, Re-spins and multiplier while the maximum available prize sits at a generous 2.000x the bet.

Theme and Symbols

John Rambo is a Vietnam War veteran who has been repeatedly recruited to carry out the most difficult military tasks for his government. 

We all know that ‘’God didn’t make Rambo’’, Colonel Trautman did, and now this iconic movie character is making its first appearance on the reels of a video slot. 

Judging by John’s face, it seems like Stakelogic based the game on newer sequels. As expected the main action takes place in the jungle and the grid is filled with partly themed symbols. 

At the bottom of the paytable, you’ll find usual royals worth between 2.5x and 5x the bet, while machetes, arrows and grenades are in the middle of it. Of course, the most lucrative one is John’s portrait worth up to 100x the bet. 

Ammo boxes and TNT detonators represent wilds while the gigantic cobra snake is the scatter. 

Betting Options

Rambo comes with a pretty usual setup of 5 reels, 3 rows and 20 active paylines and you’ll be able to spend anywhere between 0.20 and 200 coins per spin.

Payout wise, the game offers pretty good returns. The maximum win per line is set at 2.000x the bet and during the Free Spins feature it can go up to an amazing 7.126x the bet. 

The medium-high volatility is paired with a theoretical return to player (RTP) of 96.08%, which is pretty good. 

As was the case with some previous Stakelogic releases, Rambo benefits of the Super Stake betting option. Activate it and you’ll double your stake and add extra wilds and scatters to the grid.

Features

This one-armed bandit comes with 2 kinds of wild symbols. Multiplier Wilds are pretty much self-explanatory while Explosive Wilds are a little bit on a complex side. 

Whenever you land the TNT detonator symbol, it will explode and turn the reel into a wild reel. But, that’s not all! The game will also award 3 re-spins, one for each nudge as the transformed reel moves down. 

The Free Spins feature is triggered via cobra scatters. You can get 10, 20 or 50 free spins depending on the number of triggering scatters. 

The feature comes with Multiplier Wilds with values of up to 4x attached. If you manage to land several of these, multiplier values will be added! 

Finally, you’ll be able to double or quadruple your winnings in the Gamble Feature. You’ll need to guess the next card’s suit or color. 

Wrapping Up

There’s no doubt that Rambo is a very entertaining release. It provides a pretty good punch of up to 7.125x the bet, while the long list of available features will keep you engaged for quite some time. 

We are glad that Stakelogic continued the production of branded slot machines and it would be really nice if we could see more slots inspired by Sly’s roles and movies.
