Viaden Gaming is switching it up a bit, taking a break from Blackjack and making way for an exciting variation of the game Baccarat. This is a great game for both newbies as well as players who enjoy the original game as it is much easier to learn and the bets are a little less complex. The title literally translates to ‘Player Bank’ and this game will certainly aid in increasing the bank accounts of players!
How To Play Punto Banco:
The key difference between Punto Banco and the original Baccarat is that there are no optional plays in Punto Banco. In this game, all cards are dealt according to a fixed set of gaming rules. The object of the game requires players to make a bet on the winner of a match-up between two hands. One is labeled ‘Player’ and the other, ‘Bank.’
Cards will be dealt to both hands by the dealer and the hand that is closest to a total of 9 will determine the winner. You may choose to bet on 1, 2 or 3 hands: Tie, Banco and Punto.
You’ll notice that, in this game, the totals of each hand are calculated by adding the values of the cards in them and then using just the last digit. For example, a hand of 5 and 7 has a total of 12, which means the value for this given game is 2.
