Craps is perhaps the most famous of all casino games because it is featured in movies and on television shows so often. Despite being famous people still shy away from it because it is falsely deemed a complicated game. Thankfully there’s plenty of free Craps games online now; including the Amaya powered version above.
How to play Craps
Craps is a game where you bet on the roll of a dice, well two dice actually over multiple rolls. Before you can play you must place a bet on the table, which are basically predicting the outcome of the following dice roll. The available betting chips are shown in the right corner; pick these and click on the table to place your bets.
The first roll played by you, the ‘shooter’, is called the come out roll (after setting your pass or don’t pass bets). If you roll a 7 or 11 when placing pass line bets you’ll win, but you will lose if a 2, 3 or 12 is rolled. If you wager on ‘don’t pass’ a win is gained for the opposite outcome.
Another come-out roll takes place if a 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 is rolled; this number becomes the ‘point’. If you roll this point before the number 7 you will win, but if the 7 comes first you will win nothing.
There are a variety of other wagers too, which can be viewed under ‘main menu’ on the craps main screen.
