Five Handed Blackjack Surrender is a lesser known variant of the standard five handed Blackjack game. In this game, players play a regular game of Blackjack Surrender, but they do so while playing five separate hands individually. In this way, it is possible to greatly increase ones chances of winning. Like all Blackjack games, this is not only a game of chance, but also a skill-game that requires a solid strategy to back one’s play. If one has the right strategy, it is possible to emerge an overall winner while enjoying this fast-paced exciting game.
Blackjack Surrender differs from the regular game of Blackjack in that once the player realizes that there is not much hope of winning the hand, then he/she can surrender with minimal damage. When the player decides to surrender, only half the wager is lost, which is a great advantage that allows the player to pick up the nuances of Blackjack with a chance of playing it without losing too much money.
The five handed version is played with six standard decks of 52 cards each. The cards are all valued the same way as in ordinary Blackjack, with the Ace being worth either one or 11, cards from 2 to 10 are worth their face value and the face cards are all worth 10 points each. the game begins with the player choosing the wager, and then five hands are dealt and one additional hand is dealt to the dealer. The cards that are dealt are then totaled, and the player can choose to either surrender, stand, hit, double or split depending on the total that appears.

really nice BlackJack game
I liked this game as soon as I started playing it! This game combines the aspects of blackjack surrender with reasonably high betting limits for 5 hands! That, along with unlimited doubling'down, is a preferred play for any blackjack player! Excellent action here, a must play for the avid blackjack player!
Ahhh, classic Playtech Blackjack Surrender - I must have spent more time playing this particular variant of RNG blackjack than any other back in the day, I started off thinking it was a true money spinner - I was making a bunch of cash every time I played it. Then suddenly, it just changed - and it emptied my bankroll quicker...
Ahhh, classic Playtech Blackjack Surrender - I must have spent more time playing this particular variant of RNG blackjack than any other back in the day, I started off thinking it was a true money spinner - I was making a bunch of cash every time I played it. Then suddenly, it just changed - and it emptied my bankroll quicker than I could really take notice - I was shocked, based on past experience, and redeposited thinking it would OBVIOUSLY turn around now.. how naive I was back then. I guess I still hadn't worked out that casino games weren't a guaranteed money spinner! These days, I barely even bother with the 'surrender' feature, when it is offered - I don't know, giving away half my bet without even seeing the cards always just feels like a bit of a cop out lol, even if it is mathematically the best idea! Today, I can only tell you that this game can be as streaky as any online game can ever be - sometimes you'll walk away hundreds up, others you'll bust out very quickly - sometimes you feel invincible, others you are certain it is robbing you blind. But I have to believe that it is fair, in truth, so I recommend this over the regular blackjack at playtech casinos - if you like to surrender, of course :)
