Blue Chip Casino Hotel Spa

Blue Chip is a Boyd Gaming casino and oh what a great one it is! It’s not the largest casino you’ll find but it certainly is impressive. The casino is very clean and just flows very well creating a quaint atmosphere. There is always a variety of live entertainment and the gaming is top notch. You’ll always find the newest slots and the hotel is pure luxury in itself. Blue Chip is located on Easy Street; does it get any better than that?

Gaming

At 65,000 square feet the casino is not among the largest we’ve seen; however there is just something about it. It’s basically divided into three sections. The main room in the center is the largest area of the gaming floor and features a variety of Slots, Video Poker, and Table Games. There are two smaller rooms on left and right of the main area both containing a variety of Slots. In total the Casino offers 1,900 Slots and Video Poker machines. There are 42 tables with Table Games including Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Ultimate Texas Hold’em, Mississippi Stud, 3 Card Poker Progressive, Caribbean Stud, 4 Card Poker, 21+3 and Mini Baccarat.

Hotel/Accommodations

Staying in the hotel is a must. Once you arrive at Blue Chip you won’t want to leave. When considering a stay, there are two towers to choose from. The Blue Chip Tower is 8 stories and is the original hotel on the property. It’s a bit older and has that “lived in” feel. This is where most of the "comp" rooms are booked. The Spa Blue Tower is the newer hotel at 22 stories with 486 rooms. It’s here where guests will find more luxurious accommodations. The spa is located here and there are views of Lake Michigan from the rooms. Guests of both towers have access to the indoor pool, fitness center and spa.

Dining

There are five restaurants available. William B’s Steakhouse offers prime steaks, seafood and a variety of pasta dishes. It’s Vegas Baby! is the place to see some live entertainment and have a bite to eat. This place fills up so get their before it’s too late. The Game mimics a Vegas sportsbook environment. If you don’t mind sports on big TV’s around the restaurant then this is definitely a great place to kick back. There’s also a buffet and a deli on the property.

Entertainment/Nightlife

It’s Vegas Baby! turns nightclub after the clock strikes a certain hour. Quite a bit of live entertainment takes place here. The Stardust Event Center is a great place to check out live music and comedy. The Rocks Lounge is yet another entertainment venue featuring local and regional bands.
