The Village Casino

The Village Casino in Bemus Point, New York is known for its history. It is located at the tip of the point and overlooks the Chautauqua Lake. Its history dates back to the 1800s, beginning with Native Americans. In the early 1900s, the property was bought by a wealthy man and the facility reached its height by the 1930s when various world-famous bands and acts took the stage. At this time, the establishment was made up of two floors, one which consisted of dressing rooms and the second which became known for its live bands. Stars that have graced the stage include The Tommy Dorsey Band, Louis Armstrong and Lucille Ball. Today, you can still catch tons of popular live music in addition to plenty of gaming and dining opportunities. An important piece of information to keep in mind is that this spot is only open throughout the summer months (May-September). In addition, their gaming opportunities are limited as the pride themselves being more a restaurant than anything else; however, it’s still worth a visit!

This casino space offers somewhat of a limited gaming selection, but that doesn’t take away from the draw! You can still enjoy some of your favorites here.
