Casino Ambassador Location
Intro
Known as one of the oldest existing casinos in Prague, Czech Republic, Casino Ambassador describes itself as a reliable environment to play. Holding the reputation as an honest gaming scene, this place has been welcoming guests since 1992.
The person in charge of the “birth” of this grandiose casino is an economist from Prague, who used to work for the State Travel Agency of Czechoslovakia. Having travelled around the world and talked to people beyond the iron fence that once surrounded his country, he realized that Prague needed a real casino.
Aware that good location plays an important role, he selected 5-star Hotel Ambassador, situated in the very heart of Prague at Wenceslas Square. Representing the commercial and administrative center of the city, this square is also known as the site of important social and historical events that took place in the Czech Republic.
Due to specific circumstances, there were no qualified workers from the casino industry in the country. To make sure the business ran smoothly, managers and croupiers were imported from countries that already had stable and well-developed gambling sectors, such as the United States and the United Kingdom.
In terms of entertainment options, this establishment offers quite an impressive selection of poker games, more than enough to meet the needs of the most demanding players. In addition to this, it is equipped with a wide range of slot machines and table games, altogether representing a great destination for all profiles of consumers.
No entry fee is needed to enter the premises, but one must complete the registration process. All it takes is proof of ID, so to prevent underage gambling, and a couple of basic details.
Let’s not forget to mention that Casino Ambassador is part of the H&Hotels Group family, a hotel company with a long tradition in the tourism market. Opening its doors in the same year as the casino, it has a large network of three-star and four-star hotels not only in Prague but outside the city as well.
Gaming
Presenting itself as an upscale casino equipped with classic gambling games, Casino Ambassador offers an excellent selection of poker games, all-time favorite table games, and new-generation slot machines.
One of the facts this venue is particularly proud of is a large community of poker players, thanks to which this casino has the longest poker sessions in Prague. Players can have fun testing their skills on Texas Hold’em, which comes with a minimum bet of 10 CZK (approximately EUR 0.5) and an unlimited max bet. Oasis Poker is part of the offer as well, with a minimum bet of 100 CZK and a maximum bet of 3.000 CZK.
For those who like table games, Casino Ambassador hosts European Roulette, with a minimum bet of 25 CZK and a maximum bet of 3.000 CZK. There’s Blackjack as well, with a minimum bet of 100 CZK and a maximum bet of 5,000 CZK.
Furthermore, in case none of the abovementioned is what you are interested in, or you simply like to broaden your casino experience, Casino Ambassador has got you covered as well. This place also operates 32 latest interactive video lottery terminals powered by E-Gaming and Apollo Games.
In business since 2005, E-gaming is a dynamic and fast-expanding Czech company that operates a large number of devices all around the world. Aside from holding a strong position in the local territory, it also serves other global markets such as Romania, Spain, Belgium, Serbia, Mexico, Panama, Colombia, and more.
Operating since 2007, Apollo Games is a specialist in developing video slot gaming machines with trendy designs and modern functions. Holding certifications and licenses for more than 20 jurisdictions, it serves clients from Europe, Asia, and Africa. Worth noting is that the company is also involved in the iGaming sector. Its products support a large number of languages and currencies.
Being a promoter of responsible gambling, Casino Ambassador offers players a wide range of tools for responsible gambling. For slot machines, a consumer can set limits on the number of bets or net losses per day/month, or set a time limit to play on a daily basis. What’s even more, there are options to limit the number of visits to the casino per month or set the minimum time between two visits.
In case of Blackjack, Roulette, Texas Hold’em, and Oasis Poker, one can set the total among of net losses per day or month or limit the number of monthly visits. Worth adding is that for all game categories, both slot machines and live games, limits can be set individually or refused all at once.
On top of that, the official website contains “10 Rules of Gambling” which every gambler should abide by. Players are advised to play only to have fun, not to chase wealth, to be acquainted with the rules and the risks of a game, to avoid drinking while playing games, and so on.

There’s a French Restaurant as well, which is not open to the public but can be rented for different sorts of events.
Having in mind that the casino is located on Wenceslas Square, finding the right place to grab a quick bite or enjoy fine dining shouldn’t cause you any trouble. Entertainment/Nightlife/Attractions
Casino Ambassador offers the option of hosting private parties and team buildings. The dedicated team will ensure each of these events is organized according to the highest standards, providing a memorable experience to all guests who attend.
Situated in one of the main city squares, the casino has an ideal location, at least from the perspective of those who like to explore city attractions. Named after the patron saint of Bohemia, Wenceslas Square (Václavské náměstí) represents the historic center of Prague, a World Heritage Site. A funny thing to mention is that the square was formerly known as Koňský trh (Horse Market), for its periodic accommodation of horse markets during the Middle Ages.
Even if don’t feel like exploring further than there, be sure that you will be more than well-entertained. With so many shops, restaurants, and nightclubs around, it’s impossible not to have a busy schedule.
On the other hand, if none of these is your cup of tea, no problem, there’s plenty more you can do here. Pay a visit to the National Museum, or Mucha Museum, where the collection of works by the Czech Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha is exhibited. Admire the colorful baroque buildings, and Gothic churches, and don’t miss the opportunity to stop by the medieval Astronomical Clock, which gives an animated hourly show.
Other must-visit attractions include Charles Bridge where you can listen to street musicians or get a souvenir, and Old Town Square full of buildings that resemble those found in classic fairy tales. Prague is also a fantastic destination for beer lovers and a great choice for romantic souls who like river cruises. Vltava, the longest river in the Czech Republic, runs through Prague.
