Club Regent Casino

Minutes from Winnipeg Lyncrest Airport in the district of Regent and Canterbury in eastern Winnipeg lies Club Regent Casino. When not in the casino enjoy such beautifully scenic areas as Birds Hill Provincial Park and Kil-Cona Park. Take a stroll through the Stock Yards or take in a few holes at Rossmere Golf and Country Club or St. Boniface Gold Club. The casino itself runs from Monday to Saturday 9:30 am to 3 am and Sundays 11:30 am to 3 am.

The casino has plenty of video and classic slots to keep you entertained, over 900, ranging in denominations from one cent to $100. There are no hotels on site. A mere 0.2 m away you can find The New Cavalier Motor Inn. This newly renovated site offers rooms at reasonable rates. They provide free internet, free local calls, copy and fax service and have a meeting room. Rooms have air conditioning, cable tv, wi-fi and fridges and come in 1 or 2 double beds.

Dining

JAG’s Buffet: Look for special events like Mardi Gras with spicy Cajun flavours, St. Patrick’s Day Irish feast and Easter brunch. Food stations come in hot and cold as well as providing salads and soups. Buffets run 7 days a week but schedules vary. Be sure to check for times. Toukie’s Lounge and Gaming Area has a stocked bar, high definition tvs and food specials.

Entertainment/Nightlife

Check out the Walk-through Aquarium, Manitoba’s only walk-through saltwater aquarium located right in Club Regent Casino. Best viewed between noon and 10 pm daily. Calypso, Club Regent’s feisty blue and gold macaw is a casino resident. Born in 2003, Calypso meets and greets casino visitors.
