Atletico Madrid was second last year and it would not surprise me that they achieve the same this year, good luck Juventus.  :z

Even most of teams secure their places that leads into next round, I think that today we will see some good matches. One of the best matches will be that between Monaco and Zenit, because this two teams are direct competitors for second place, because I think Leverkusen will win against Benfica. I think that in this match there will be max two goals and also I think that Zenit might win. I also expect wins from Real Madrid, Dortmund, Arsenal and Olympiakos. Also Liverpool and Basel are playing for second place in their group, and this match will be very tie. Anyway I think here we'll see good football and at least three goals with a win from Liverpool. And finally as "bianconero" I expect win from Juventus. At Juventus Stadium bianconeri didn't lose 38 matches, they have 33 wins and 5 draws. Juve needs only one point to secure second place, but if they win with two or more goals difference they will put them in first place. So I'm just gonna say: FORZA JUVE! ;D

I can't wait to 24th February to watch Juventus vs. Dortmund on Juventus Stadium. I'm a big fan of Juve and after a long pause from Champions League this season I believe that Juventus is finally "back on track" and they can go far. I'm optimist for this match up against Dortmunt because they are not in good shape and on the other side Juventus didn't played so well for a long time. But German teams are always hard to play against and very unpredictable. We won't know nothing util 18th March when they will play second match in Germany. Forza Juve! God damn Bayern and Xavi Alonso. I bet on correct results, 1:1 on PSG - Chelsea (7,30 odd) and 0:2 on Shakhtar - Bayern (6,00 odd). It's unreal that Bayern had same amount of shoots at 35min mark and at the end. Borring game after all. On the other hand, derby of 1st round went as expected, even beyond expectations. Chelsea played enough for them to have huge lead before game at Stanford Bridge.

Highlight of the night: Chelsea's goal. Terry passes to Cahills backfoot, ball goes to Ivanovic and goal. No offensive player made any contribution.

That was a great goal indeed, everything created by defenders! But Courtois was the man of the match in my view, he pulled off some amazing saves.

What a bad luck for Chiellini, he slipped and let Reus to score the equalizer. I think that if that mistake didn't happened Dortmund will left Torino without scoring a goal, they didn't had any good chance to score except that goal. Like Johnny said, in that second game on Signal Iduna Park, they have everything to play for.

On the other side, City's bad form continues and it was easy for Barcelona to win. I think that Manchester City don't have much chances to get a positive result in two weeks on Camp Nou.

Two surprising results tonight, Arsenal got whooped by Monaco while Leverkusen got themselves a nice win over Atletico.

What a bad night for favorites tonight in Champions League. Arsenal totally failed in their attack and Monaco's players did a great job in counter attacks. In the other game for tonight Leverkusen managed to win against Atletico Madrid, but Atletico are still favorites to go trough 1/8 final and it will be hard match for Leverkusen when they'll play on Vicente Calderon.  :D

I'm shocked by tonight's results. Wasn't even close on guessing right outcome on betting. Monaco played decently, but everything goes on Gunners who failed to show 20% of what they can do. Olivier Giroud had horrible night, missed three great opportunities. Everything could have been different if he scored when it was 0:1 for Monaco.

On the other note, I underestimated Bayern and overprised Atletiko Madrid. Germans controled match, and should have tried to score second goal aswell. But I guess they respect spanish squad too much, so they didn't risk and keept their positive score before second match in Madrid.

Arsenal is 95% out, and Atletico vs Leverkusen is 50/50 now.

It will be very interesting to see second matches in this phase of Champions League.For me ,most interesting matches will be Dortmund -Juventus and Chelsea - PSG.

you are right Vlado Mikic but I can't wait to see can Manchester city do something because we saw their play in second half and they were better than Barca until that red card and also can Arsenal do something in Monaco.. at the end all games will be interesting

I must agree with kkole and say that i expect that if not all than most of the games to be interesting. I definitely expect from Arsenal to make the game interesting and score an early goal, also I saw that Reus was injured and left the game in 25th minute, so we'll see this days how much serious is this injury. And we all know that if he won't be able to play, Juve will have more chances to go trough. Anyway, I expect from Juventus to qualify in 1/4 final  :-bd

Actually Mourinho was surprisingly decent after the match, didn't blame it on the referee this time but he did mention they should have been given that penalty kick :)

I must say that that Schalke's win over Real Madrid on Santiago Bernabeu was very big surprise for me, but anyway Real went to 1/4 final and that is only that counts. Also I'm very happy with the fact that PSG are in 1/4 finals because honestly I think that the referee made a mistake giving Ibrahimovich red card, yes, that was hard tackle, but I think that yellow card would be fair punishment, and also that penalty in extra time was very suspicious decision, because I'm pretty sure that the ball never touched Thiago Silva's hand.

This years Champ League is about surprises. It was somehow boring in previous years - I mean too predictable. But not this time :)

Monaco pulled through with a bit of luck and some help from their goalkeeper while Atletico struggled to overcome Leverkusen but did that in the end after a tense penalty shoot-out.

No miracles for Man City, Barca defeated them in the second leg too. Juventus clinched a convincing win at Dortmund, proving that they really are one of the best teams in Europe at the moment.

I must say that I'm happy with my team's performance yesterday. Allegri made very good tactic and lads conducted that tactic perfectly. They let Dortmund's players to keep the ball and still didn't let them any space to create some good chance, and on the other side they scored from two counter attacks, and also first goal by Tevez in third minute was one of the best in Champions League this season.
