Karlovic's serving game is like wine, it gets better with Karlovic's age. He had 24 aces against Rafa :D

I watched Djokovic today, a game with such ease, as much as is enough to win. He spent an hour on the ground and it was good to continue the tournament.
His game looks so easy that it is unlikely. It not lasts from now but throughout this year .
I think he will win this Shanghai so easy.

Rafael Nadal def. Ivo Karlovic 7-5 6-7(4) 7-6(4)
That was actually a nice match in terms of drama and oddly the 1st Sets the "better player" lost.
1st Set - Nadal gave a loose game which Ivo capitalized and Ivo served well in the next games. Really, really should've won that Set but Nadal had a GOAT return game it seems on 4-5*. However, Ivo folded quite easily IMO in the next service game. I thought to myself -- Ivo doesn't win this Set, then I can't anymore. But Nadal did well to get that break back. Just wished Ivo didn't fold like that, where based on form he might still be able to win the Set on the TB. Yep, on, the, TB.
2nd Set - Nadal seem to be better here and Ivo's shots are missing on return. Quite vulnerable on serve too, but Nadal wasn't able to get break points off it. Ivo was able to get some BPs from Nadal but Nadal saved them all. I thought it would be lights out for Ivo now as it goes to the TB but a great net point gave Ivo a minibreak and served well to close out the Set.
3rd Set - With both sets even-stevens both seem to play OK. I thought during the match that Ivo was actually decent on long rallies, and that he is really not doing well at the net with the net approaches usually getting passed. But he sort of sorted it out in the last part of the 2nd Set and early here in the 3rd. Some shaky crack from Karlovic around the end but was able to push it to a TB. So we go to the TB which was testy. Nadal was solid, and Ivo too...until 4-4 when he missed that 1st serve which I felt he would DF. Nadal did well to serve it out, but Ivo again attempted to go to the net but Nadal passed. Great mental effort from Nadal to finish it but shows he is still quite vulnerable.

I think Anderson can win against Nishikori. The Japanese is not in his best form.He suffered a painfull exit at Tokyo and started this tournament with a hard win against Kyrgios. Anderson has a better service game than Kyrgios so this match could be a tough one.
Anderson's odds seems very good (@3,25) but the Anderson +3,5 could be a better choice (@1,81).

I think the handicap should be good. Anderson won the first set (7:6), and the second set is a tight one as well (6:5*, Anderosn serves). $$

Nishikori vs Anderson 0:2 (6:7, 6:7) $$
My next picks are:
Cilic vs Wawrinka
correct score: 1:2 @3,75
Simon vs Berdych
over 2,5 sets @2,5
The last two matches between Cilic and Wawrinka finished with Wawrinka 2:1. Both players played well in the last round showed us strong service games. In my opinion this match would go to final set where Wawrinka will be the favorite to win this match.
I think the odds is really good on 3 sets at Simon vs Berdych. Both player played out 3 sets at this tournament (Simon against Basilashvili and Mayer and Berdych against Sock). Neither of these players is in good form, so I think this pick could be an easy one.

Simon vs Berdych 0:2 (3:6, 3:6) >:D
I was affraid of the Cilic vs Wawrinka match because Wawa played well and he was close to finish the match in straight sets. But Cilic won the second set finally, and lost one his second service game in the third. Thanks Wawa and Cilic :D

Another easy win for Djokovic while Murray battled past Isner and Wawrinka struggled to overcome Cilic. Ramos nearly pulled off the upset against Tsonga.

Nadal - Wawrinka
Rafa played really nice lately. Last week in Beijing played very good, won: Wu, Pospisila, Sock and Fognini. Of course lost the final from Đoković. He had a tough draw in the first two rounds, won the first Karlović 7:5, 6:7, 7:6, and then Raonic 6:3, 7:6. He had a very difficult task against the two top servers, especially Karlović. Karlovic had in the first set 5:3.
Wawrinka played last week in Tokyo very good tournament, which he won, played against: Stepanek, Ito, Krajicek, Muller and Paire. Here in the first round won vs Troicki 7:6, 6:3. Today beat Čilić 7:5, 6:7, 6:4. Honestly, I do not like his game so far, against Troicki where he wrong entered the match, Viktor had a break up but failed to hold on. Čilić in the first two sets had a break advantage. I think that Stan is a little tired and today played almost 3 hours against Čilić.
Rafa is biggest favorite than the odds shows, playing good tennis, especially surprised to return. Waw is always unpleasant, but does not play something special. With all of that Rafa is fightting for the final tournament in London.

Anderson vs Tsonga would be a good one. They have met two times, Tsonga won both by 2:0. Each of the sets won on tie-breaks. Both players have a good service game but Tsonga is a better receiver. I think Tsonga will win but only in 3 sets.
My picks are:
Tie break in match - YES @1,4 (in my opinion this is a big gift)
correct score: 1:2 @4,3

Djokovic will face Murray in the semi-finals in Shanghai, both played very well today. Nadal will face Tsonga, the Spaniard really hammered Wawrinka.

Rafa played a fantastic first set with no mistakes. Wawrinka was not fully fit so understandable advantage but still he put no step wrong. Wawrinka was really really bad in the second set. Tanking like no tomorrow. Good win for Rafa's confidence.
Who on earth would have thought Rafa would have more top 10 wins outside clay and that too in post USO swing in a year. Good win for Rafa. Keep going. Any result from now on is bonus.

Nadal vs Tsonga
I think Nadal to win is a big value bet. H2H is 9:3, on hard court 5:1. And the bookies pay 1,5 for Nadal's win? Unbelievable. He played well in the previous rounds. Tsonga could be very tired after his second 3 sets win, so in my opinion Nadal should win this match.
My picks:
Nadal to win @1,4
Correct score: 2:0 @2,1.
Djokovic vs Murray
Djoko and Murray have played 5 times in 2015, and the Serb leads 4:1. But there is only one easy win for Djoko, the other were tough. Djoko is not in his best form ever and Andy knows how to play against the Wolrd No. 1. I think Murray will be able to win one set but will lose the match.
My pick:
Correct score: 2:1 @4.

Easy win for Nole... N.Djokovic - A.Murray 2-0 ( 6-1, 6-3 ).... 13 final in the row....
Not exactly the exiting match we all expected ;)
Duel of two best in the world? I would say the best in the world against some Murray.Djokovic is a class above all.
No doubt that only one from the two best in the world was on the court in that one ;)
