Arsenal are in superb form these days, hammered Norwich 4-1 last weekend and are unbeaten since losing to Aston Villa in the opening match of the season. Dortmund are a good attacking side but their start to the season was shaky, lost to Napoli in the Champions League, then lost to Gladbach in the Bundesliga and barely scraped past Hannover last week. These two teams have met twice before in the Champions League and Arsenal have always won at home. I think they will win again tonight but since Dortmund are dangerous I would go for the DNB option, stakes to be returned in case of a draw.

You know since I love playing risk and I am a fan of Dortmund. I put 8€ on Dortmund just to make me enjoy the game more. :)

Actually a tiny profit. Somehow I really felt that Brands should win and seeing that his odd was like 2.80 really kept me there. His odd was way too high to not pick him.

The bookies have Leverkusen as strong favourites to win this one but I can't really understand why to be honest. The Germans were beaten 4-2 at Manchester United before winning 2-1 at home with  Sociedad while Shakhtar beat Sociedad 2-0 away before being held to a 1-1 home draw by Manchester United. Leverkusen have a shaky defence, they always seem to let in at least a goal at home, while Shakhtar are a goal scoring machine away from home thanks to their quick and skillful Brazilian attackers. I think Shakhtar have a very good chance to win this one but the double chance is a safer bet. A win for Shakhtar is 4.52 at Pinnacle Sports.

Not really, I can't seem to get any bets right this week. Leverkusen are leading 4-0 and I don't have the stomach to watch the last minutes of the match, Shakhtar were a total mess tonight.

Li Na - Jelena Jankovic

This match is really a coin toss. It is so hard to predict. Li played a pretty bad match today while Jankovic did a pretty good job beating Azarenka. Though Azarenka is playing bad Tennis right now anyway.

And if Li has a bad day, it will be so hard for her to find the court. She will be all over the place.

But since it is a coin toss match and we have some great odds on Jankovic. Why not taking a risk on her?! The highest one I saw was on William Hill @ 3.10.

Seems the bookies are thinking about the same thing ChokeDee, odds on Jankovic have dropped significantly. Highest is still at William Hill but it's 2.75 now.

I wasn't so sure they would win, odds too low to risk high stakes in my view. In fact, Sociedad came close to scoring twice while United were lucky to get that own goal.

As expected, Li was so up and down and all over the place but JJ was too stupid to take her chances.

As you know sometimes the best time to bet on a team is when they have been playing bad as thats when they WIN look at newcastle for example they play terrible weeks on end then bookies put a high price on them and get slaughtered with bets on them when they win lol

I know, I just didn't trust United to win that considering the way they have been playing this season.

Definitely could happen, Federer has been unimpressive lately and Dimitrov should be quite pumped up after winning his first ATP tournament.

Newell's are top of the table after playing 12 matches, have lost just two and both away from home. Godoy Cruz are 7th but mostly thanks to their performances at home, they got just one win and two draws away. Newell's are coming from a defeat last week at Rosario Central, so they will be relishing the opportunity to get back to winning ways in front of their fans. Last meeting between the two was last May, Newell's won 3-1.

Guess you can't win everyday. I failed big time.

Federer won against Dimitrov. Didn't have a chance to watch the match. Don't know how they both played.

Both teams had a poor start to the season but there is a big difference between them: Kuban have a new head coach and they are highly motivated after grabbing a 1-1 Europa League draw at Swansea last week while Anzhi are on the brink of destruction with every player wanting to leave the sinking ship as soon as possible. I am quite sure that Kuban will win this one but the odds on that are fairly low, so I suggest the -1 with odds to be returned in case of a single-goal difference win.

Today's League Cup match sees a Championship side, Burnley, taking on a Premier League outfit, West Ham. Obviously the Premier League lads are the favourites but I think otherwise. Burnley have been in superb form lately, they have 8 consecutive wins in all competitions and are undefeated at home this season with 7 wins and two draws, both early in the campaign. West Ham on the other hand seem quite shaky, they are 15th in the Premier League with just 9 points in 9 matches, and three of those were a total fluke at Tottenham. Burnely are strong at home, they were so back in the Premier League days as well, so I think they will take this despite being the underdogs.

Del Potro is the favourite in this match but I doubt it will be an easy one, Cilic is back after serving his suspension and he seems in good shape, especially on his serve. Cilic served no less than 22 aces in his first round match, tough for any opponent to cope with something like that. I think there will be at least a tie break in this match, so the over 21.5 option looks pretty good despite Del Potro being such a strong favourite with the bookies.

I did :) But it's ok. It was just a bad day I guess. I had 4 single bets in the evening and I had them all wrong.

Isner is a dangerous opponent and Djokovic surely knows that as he was defeated by the big American in Cincinnati earlier this season. I think Nole will win this one but it should be a close fight.

This one should be a cracker, Wawrinka and Djokovic have met twice this year, both matches on hard, both Grand Slam matches, and both ended in five sets. I expect a close match again given that both players seem in good shape ahead of the World Tour Finals.
