  • As the champions odds above suggest it would probably be another season dominated by Man City, for the sake of the intrigue though I hope at least one other team could be a tile contender as well. For me it look more likely that would be the Arsenal despite their early shakes in form, they were pretty close last season.

    The Liverpool comeback the other day was impressive but I don't think the Newcastle team made enough to dominate that game having a spare man for a big duration of the match. Still don't see Liverpool being consistent enough to put up a title challenge, but maybe I'm wrong?!?

  • Hey Sharpe, great to see you commenting here again!

    I agree that Man City are the absolute favorites this season but I do hope that Arsenal will put up a serious challenge, their squad is better than last season.

  • Hi Johnny,

    again it's been a long time since I get in touch and I'm sorry for that... just checked the City score and apparently they would probably win the league once again after the win at Spurs...unless a miracle happens in the last day... but those are usually in their favor...of course.

    Anyways.. just wanted to share that I really think Arsenal would be unlucky to not win anything this season cause I do believe they've  developed this young team the best possible way.. and I mean from the transfers to the coach appointments and style of play.

    I remember watching an Arsenal game with my friend (probably around 2019 or 2020).. I've said to him that this team will win the league in 2-3 years time..maybe I was wrong.. but do I?;

    Arsenal has nothing to regret for, just have to win their last game and who knows...!? Certainly this team is a promise to the future.

  • I have to agree when it comes to Arsenal, a young and talented team with a good coach. I think what made the difference this year was Manchester City's greater squad depth and the form they showed at the end of the season.

    Some would say it's a habit for City wining the league late, but I do believe it's been a lot tougher for them last season and this (..if) .. probably a lot more experience in the coaching staff and squads is what make the difference but I still do believe Arsenal is the best developed club in the last few years and with this young personal on all levels.. I really do believe the future is bright for them.

  • It's maybe not the place to ask but since my previous post I've noticed JohnnyK haven't been online for 8 months.. so he's not around here anymore?

    Anyway, if someone gets in touch with him please send greetings from sharpe (maybe he'll remember who I am :). Thanks.

  • Thank you Spurs!

  • Did the news about Team Manchester City - 1.80s case affect the decision?

    Man City
