Better than Croatia woo You have to be kidding, both teams played like shit all game long and in the end of injury time  Croatia had 2 or 3 decent chances. Even the goal of Portugal was lucky bounce!!! it was scored on counter after Croatia hit the post!!!

And after that penalty shout win against Poland in an equal game.

Portugal didn't win a game in the group In which they were by far a clear favourites!!!

But don't worry there is not so much luck on the planet to win the title for Portugal.

Hi mate, yes hopefully Wales will throw out the Portuguese out  of the tournament, but I'm not sure that will happen  because Portugal is a lot more experienced team at big events and although Wales plying better they will miss Ramzi who is maybe  their most influencing player so far.

Anyway hopefully would be a good game, both teams would have their chances I think.

What a knockdown by Ronaldo and company. Portugal playing their football, finally scoring after their their chances. Wales on the other hand misses Ramsey so bad, nobody to connect midfield with attack in their squad atm.

At least Portugal played a decent game to reach the final, they played tougher in defence and midfield not allowing a free spaces for Wales flange players which for me made the difference between the sides.

Portugal won their first match of the tournament, just in time for the final :) Jokes aside, Ronaldo and company dominated the match and deserved to win it.

I dont think you should write off Germany cica001. This is going to be closest match in this euro beside germany-italy. Well, bracket was screwed up if you ask me, italy deserved semis for example but they were unlucky

Final game, Portugal vs Greece, host of that championship was the favorite in final match, but there was a surprise and Greek became the champion of Europe.

I dont know, nobody expected Portugal to be in the finals.. But they managed to sneak in. And I agree with nik, this seems like underdog story for me. But also France showed that they deal great with the pressure.

I agree that Cristiano Ronaldo didn't prove that he is top2 in the world. Only good game he had was vs Hungary. Don't forget missed penalty vs Austria that could have costed them not qualifying to knock out stage.

Only it has been played against France. I respect all the equipments. But it is not equal to play against Germany or Italy.

You have a point there mate, their consistency was awarded in the end although this not necessary means that they were the best team at the championship.

I think their coach's tactics was the difference in the end,  and if there wasn't so inadequate attitude and overreacting  from Ronaldo's side there's wont be so many people upset by the Portuguese success.

I am manly happy cause Ronaldo won mayor championship with his nation. You can see true passion in his eyes, and my opinion on his haters is that they envy him.

Hi muzejpri. Only speaking itself of Cristiano. It seems to be that the alone one has gained the Euro. In the equipment there are 22 players. Not only he. You have to admit that it is not I throw his better competition. Your you must recognize it.

Defense can keep you in a few games. Having an easy bracket can work wonders, too. You just gotta grab every opportunity whenever and wherever it presents itself. Huge kudos, Portugal.
