Euro 2008

Anyone watching Euro 2008 in Austria-Switzerland? I love football/soccer and ive seen almost all matches  on TV.Unfortunately Serbia didn't make through qualifications , so I'm only enjoying games as impartial/objective fan. Must say Portugal is my favourite on this championship, they play beautiful football,and i hope they win the cup.Total disappointment of Euro 2008 so far are Italy and France,who lost to Netherlands(0-3 and 1-4).The Netherlands became a favourite to win the European Championship.

Also the biggest disappointment is defending champion Greece . They are eliminated from Euro after 1-0 lost to Russia

Anyone made any bets? I ain't much of bettor ,i just enjoy the game.

Great game last night.Russia beat Holland 3:1 in extra time.Must say Holland was my first pick to win a Euro CUP, but im glad Russia won.

Till this game the Dutch were playing the best football,and their wins against Italy 3:0, France 4:1, and Romania 2:0 made them 1st favorite to win the Euro.

This Euro proved that there are no favorites and underdogs ,and who knows maybe even Turks become champions...anything is possible especially after their incredible win against Croatia.

Go Hungary......Oh wait we're not in it huh. Damn maybe next time eh.

SPAIN is the new European Champion. This is their first title in 44 years after a 1-0 win over Germany in Vienna thanks to a Fernando Torres goal. Germany were totally outclassed,as Spain dictated the rhythm of the game and created more goal chances.

Buttom line Spain showed the best football from the beginning to the end of the EURO and goes home with more than deserved title.
