Berdych was unable to pull off another upset, Djokovic defeated him in straight sets to claim the title in Dubai. Novak Djokovic captured his fourth Dubai title and his 36th tour-level trophy.

Gulbis gave an intriguing interview saying that there are some really bad players in top 100 and that he should be there. He also said that he was taking tennis seriously for the first time in his life. :)

He won the title so let's see how far he gets. He surely has potential.

He is talented and was tipped to break the top 20 a while back, he was ranked 21st in 2011. I think that if he keeps playing like this he will surely make the top 50, the top 100 shouldn't be a problem to achieve for him.

One of the biggest tournaments of the season is coming up next week, the Indian Wells tournament, but the fun starts today with the first qualifying round. Actually the qualifying here is as good as a full tournament, lots of players competing for a place on the main draw.

I think that Nadal beat Federer in quarters and Del Potro beat Murray. He's on fire, he's one of my favorite players but I didn't expect him to act like he's tired and can't move between points, that was surprising especially since he was running around quite nicely.

I also hope that he will be fine for today's final and beat Nadal.

There was a tennis discussion somewhere and a guy said that he dreamed about Troicki winning his match against Tsonga. :D He said that his tennis dreams come true :D and he also predicted that Kamke was going to beat del Potro.

So, who dares to bet on Troicki?! :D though the odds are not that exciting.

Troicki is quite unpredictable, he can play a brilliant match today and be total rubbish tomorrow. So I avoid betting on him but the odds are nice ;)

No surprises on Saturday, Murray, Berdych and Tsonga pulled through even though Berdych jad a much tougher match than expected against Gimeno-Traver.
