Please back to .com or a better hosting

Ever since you guys moved to .org and switched servers the site has become extremely laggy from all over the world. While travelling with work I've tried to visit from Singapore, India, Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Portugal and Estonia and trust me it's not my ISP speed. Either you are getting ddossed from time to time or something really fishy is up with the site. A gigant affiliate bussiness like you bringing in more than a sixfigure amount a month could use better hosting. Honestly, please! :)

I hear you and its somehtign we have been working on since September. Its not related to the hosting but to the LCB's core code, that we are rewrting. we do get DDOS attacks all the time, but thats not the main issue for the lag. Huge database and forum community, all LCB's features etc, combined with coding issues from the past, and there you have a lag.

But we are on it, so bear with us 

ETA is late summer. 

9 months already working on it ? woah, must be a clusterfuck :D haha, what do you do against them DDOS? Do you use some kind of DDOS shield service or reroute the traffic? 

heheh indeed it's messy... But why is it taking so long though? We are in essence rewriting the whole site from scratch, and you must have in mind the size and complexity of LCB.

Regarding DDOS attacks , i really don't know the exact specifics , but we pay some good $$ for Amazon hosting that covers DDOS attacks . 

Well the name Amazon might sound like you are getting the bang for ur buck, but I think you would honestly find better service from startups who take their work a lil more ethusiastic :)
Amazon is just milking imo. A little company with not so much brand or power usually does a betterjob in my experience,

Today I have gotten 4 times this error "500 Internal Server Error
If you are the administrator of this website, then please read this web application's log file and/or the web server's log file to find out what went wrong." All different times and different parts of the website.

yeah.. sorry about that... I know its annoying to have a laggy site , believe me no one is more frustrated than I am. But it's work in progress and so far we are on schedule. ETA is late summer ( late Aug/ early Sept ). We expect the new code will fix all major issues but also allow us to implement some of the new site's features that have been put on hold.

Again I do appreciate the comments , especially coming from a long standing member. Bear with us
