New site look

Hello,

i can't find the post where we talk about the new site, so there are my impressions:

- in my opinion the site is too heavy, it's hard to find what you are looking for and the forums isn't working properly, in the old one i was able to reach the last post of a thread with one button, now i have to click the thread wait for the loading and then choose the last page.

- the new site is forcing me to log in every time i visit LCB, the old one worked properly for me.

For now i don't really like the new forum and site look but it could be that i was used to the old one and now i feel a little lost.+

Like all new things, you need to give yourself some time so you can adapt. I too had a difficult time browsering the new website but I am used to it now, not completely but I know how and where to find things.

I totally agree with you regarding the new login feature so no comment there ;)

And about the long loading page, I don't agree with you, in fact the old one was the only version that took ages loading some page(s) but then again it might be the webbrowser we are using.

I think the old one was very compact and clear because the index was in a list form while the new one is kinda divided in clusters with bigger letters ( this is a improvement for the seniors among us :P ).

Personally I like the new look a lot more than the old one but yes there are some things I would like to be different, like the colours of some page could be a little bit darker ( I love the main page colour, it's more than perfect ).

This is still a beta version so I am curious about the final website :)

I would love to see member's pictures in the background of the forum page instead of the video slots :) and the pictures of the video slots and table games in the background of games page :) etc.

i must agree with most, ive been trying to get used to the new site and ajust but its just too thick. everything about it is complicated. you would think that you would want bit to be user freindly.

i am not sure we are looking at the same site here 

i love the new LCB . its modern, sleek and intuitive. 

it is also logging me out but i know LCB Admin said they are working on it.

can you guys add the poker part of the forum pls ? it will be nice

our poker/sports and bingo forums are now separated from LCB. However there is a link at the bottom of LCB forum that will take you to related poker section.

I know everyone's working hard!  I hate to say anything negative because you guys are awesome, but this new site doesnt seem too user friendly compared to the old one, it IS "very thick" and difficult to load and navigate comparitively.  IT DOES look really sharp and sleek.. but the pro doesnt quite weigh in to me. I know the "new" can take a while to acclimate.. but I'm trying. I really liked the old "lists", told me everything i needed to know. these ones are missing things, and the old info that was "saved" (like where i'd signed up from here to diff places) is no longer there from the old site. Again, you guys are great, and I'm still a fan, I just wanted to give my input as I'm sure you're working things out in beta mode =)

Hi catseye, Thank you for your feedback and we are working hard to make the site more streamlined and take out parts they are not needed, you should be seeing daily improvements as we are working practicaly day and night to make the site as great as we know it can be.

For you concerns about the old lists please let us know what is missing and what you would like returned.

And please elaborate on the saved info so we can get an idea if we have missed moving anything from the old database.

TIP: we just updated the way you post messages in 'quick reply' so that now they should appear instantly without reloading the page and having that annoying green pop up appear. Hold 'CTRL' and press 'F5' to ensure you get the latest files to ensure it works.

You should have a simplified version of LCB.

Also, you seem to have lost a lot of members due to this change, no one event visits the forum anymore besides staff members. You should make appropriate changes and send out a mass email/use Google Ads etc.

cant say I agree with you. the site is quite simple to me. And its pretty much the same concept of the forum with the same location of the related secitons. granted slightly different navigation at the top of the site but hey thats part of the change.

not sure why you say that  no one is visiting the forum, you should check the stats down at the bottom of the site and number of daily posts. Seems you are bit confused in that aspect  so ive attached it for ya

Usually it's no more than 100-120 users browsing at a time (including guests/bots), back in a day it used to be way more.

actually what you are referring to is entirely new feature ( how many visitors are currently viewing/browsing the forums ). What we had on the old site are the same statistics that you can see now at the bottom of the site  ( image that nirvana posted above). The numbers we are getting have not changed much and are actually on a slight rise.
