automatic subrscribe

hi, I would not commit another mistake but it seems to me missing notification to the subscriptions of a thread. that is when I enter the forum I see new replies to threads that I have participated or which I opened. thank you

If you receive a notification via email and don't log in to the site afterwards, you won't be getting any more notifications for the said topic until you do.

On the other hand, we've had this bug a few months ago when the new site was launched, and it was fixed, but we will look into it in case the same is happening again.

but I did not mean to email notification, I wanted to have a section in the dashboard with all new answers to their thread or to those who took part in

We already have this implemented and its located at the top of the forum, "new posts' .  It also makes distinction between new replies and new replies to the topic you already posted at. 

The next step ( and it will be added to the dashboard ) is to introduce sophisticated notification system where you will get the alerts for everything that you got involved at LCB or subscribed to ( even updates to the review you subscribed to ).

for now no. all notificaitons go to the email. You can however unsubsribe. As already mentioned the forum notifications are on our to do list.

Every time I post in the forum, I am automatically being subscribed to that particular topic. How do I turn this feature OFF across the board as I have yet find this option in my account like before? Right now I'm being forced to manually 'unnotify' each and every discussion, which is extremely tedious.

Edit: Funnily enough, it did not happen in this particular instance when I actually want to be notified of a response!

Perhaps it was a temporary glitch as I don't seem to be having the same problem today, just hope it does not happen again.

Apparently I spoke too soon or the problem has returned because I'm once again being autosubscribed to topics I post in! Is there no way to stop this from happening in the first place rather than having to go back and 'unnotify' each time?

That's how the system works. It is based on the assumption you are interested in the topics you are replying too, and therefore want to know what others post there.

I'm not sure why is that so bothersome to you? Is it the notifications to your e-mail? If so, you do need to manually unsubscribe each time, or not log in and open the topic - in this case, there won't be any more notifications until you do.

We are currently working on implementing a dashboard notification system, it will happen at some point in the future. For now, this is how it works.
