    Hi Poker Players!

     

    Using the timer in poker can have it's advantages. I know there is crucial moments where extra time is really needed.

     

    But there are players who abuse the clock. I have had the nitemare of sitting at the table with a player once in a tourney who ran his time out on every single hand. Not his clock....that was already used up...but his intial time given.

     

    I know when it comes time and we are  on the bubble....the low stack will drag his clock to at least get a piece of the pie. I have done it myself...and if i have been with a player long enough at the table...i too have been known to drag my clock as well for the underdog to help him out!

     

    Whats your thoughts on the clock...do you use it...if so in what cirumstances?

    Great topic lips,

     

    I have used the timer in everyway, it does help when you have a tough decision to make..but i have also abused it when i got really ticked off from a bad beat..then peeps start yelling at me to "hurry up"..so of course i keep it up..it might throw another player off there game.

    Absolutely despise it!  I like a fast game.  Sometimes peeps need it, but in most cases it is used for reasons stated above. :) And....60 seconds?  That is a long time to wait and watch 60, 59, 58, 57, 56.........

     

    This among other reasons is why I don't play online poker any more.  And I played it a lot.

    yeah it is very true the timer is required when we need the extra time.but it is also true that it is difficult to wait the time.
