Best poker book

Whats the best poker youve ever read?

For me it was Colin Moshmans Sit N Go book. It opened my eyes to end game strategy and completely changed the way i played sit n gos.

To answer your question - I've not read any poker books in their entirety on poker.

There is no one good book about poker there are very normal as well as good for example  by Doyle ? if I good remember

mine was super system of doyle and another one was my first book and is manual de poker of carreño LOL  8)

Check out this thread HERE - there's plenty of advanced topics in the list to keep you busy all day.  Some of the sites have quizzes to check your learning. Whilst they are not books, they are online and free.

As for psychology of poker players....none spring to mind on the subject.  Perhaps ohmesohrny may be able to recommend one or two.

Mike Caros Book of Tells is a classic. A little outdated, but still very relevant for the game and worth a read.

Also, try reading Zen and the Art of Poker.

For the best Mental Game book check out Jared Tendlers "The Mental Game of Poker".

I did an interview with him a few months back and read his book. This guy knows his stuff and the book is amazing. He coaches WSOP bracelet winners and high stakes cash players all the time. He was a golf coach and is now booked almost every day with top players from around the world.

His book is the best mental aspect of poker book out there.

Ace on The River by Barry Greenstein was interesting on a gamblers life perspective . The quotes made over the poker table would make your eyes water and wince such is the pitch black humor of gambling
