  • Hi LCBers, I registered on Goliath Casino and lost quite a bit of money on there. They sent me an email a few days back to claim some free spins and I took the offer. I won £16 from the free spins and continued to spin on the slot called Bonanza. I was winning and decided to withdraw £40 as it stopped paying me. I spoke to one of their agents via chat called Jake and he advised me to upload my passport (British Passport) and the card that I had been depositing with. I did so and them yesterday I received an email saying my withdrawal was cancelled as I need to provide proof of the first card i deposited with. The first card I deposited with (same acc number and sort code) was stopped by my bank for security reasons a few weeks back and I destroyed it for my own safety. I explained my situation to another chat agent called Chris and he said they wouldn't pay me unless I provided proof of closure from my bank..... "proof of closure"???? I told him it is the same account just a different card and he maintained that banks provide this and I should contact my bank to request it. I contacted my bank and they told me there is no such document and that the casino must have got it wrong. So now because the Goliath casino will not pay me as I haven't got proof of my previous card. How ridiculous are casinos getting. Please be careful which casino you are using as they will try anything/reason to avoid paying you if they can. I'd just like to add they at no point contacted me to say they can't accept my payments to them as the "card" number was different. Please can you look into this LCB?.   • I hope you get your withdrawal. I agree with you, that casinos will do ANY and EVERYTHING to find a loop hole, and a silly little reason to avoid paying you, what you win. 

    I have found that out of the thousands of online casinos, there are VERY FEW Honest casinos.... and when you find one, you should stick with it. That is what I have had to do.

    Even though some of the promotions are tempting... Good luck to you

    You're welcome. We've chatted with their live support and their agent found the query we sent and promised she'd look into it personally and get back to us. Hope we'll get some answers.

  • We just a got a reply from the casino support team. Namely, they can't share any info about players' accounts with the 3rd party. They promised they'd get in touch with you and sort out the issue. Please let us know if you hear from them.
