RESOLVED: Bitstarz Friday Loyalty Bonus

I feel like I am becoming a bit of a complainer. But, here it goes anyway... I kicked off the  start of my weekend... excited to play my Friday Loyalty Bonus from Bistarz Casino. I got 5 mBTC to play with... I start playing my favorites games and I quickly realize that this would be a good session. I start winning left and right, free spins all over the place, hit five scatters for a win I never thought I'd see on my screen, and come to rest at 107 mBTC. Very cool I think to myself as I go for the withdrawal button to cashout my newfound winnings... well to reclaim some of my losses the past couple days... I attempted to cashout 0.025 and 15 minutes later my account is deactivated right in the middle of playing an ultimate lucky round of spins. I was then told that Friday Loyalty bonuses are capped at 0.005 for wins. I received 0.005 as my bonus... I have on many occassions received 0.010... It seems to be based on the past weeks deposits/losses... I tried to explain to Mike that I think I was receiving the VIP cashback loyalty but said I wasn't and that the max cash out is 0.005... So Fridays are rewarded with 5,10... mBTC which must be wagered 45xs before we are able to cashout 5 mBTC? That is harsh... Has this happened to anyone else? I have a friend that swears up and down she has made playthrough with hers and cashed out well over 0.2 recently and she has never heard of the VIP. Anyways I seriously feel like I should have just stayed in bed this morning and beat my head against my wall til my dreams of winnigs floated away with my tears...

to me and I’ve been playing there since free spins they gave you at .02 and they just recently went down again to .005 which me and casino head nick went at it about, because a month earlier I was able to cashout .01 and a year ago .1..  I was told due to BTC increase in value they lower the max cashout..  Saying loyalty bonus is not a “deposit” bonus but a freebie.. Since it’s loyalty it’s based on all my deposits throughout the week so I don’t understand..  and now that bitcoin has decreased in value why has the max not been raised yet again??  I mean I thought the whole purpose in gambling with bitcoin was that it’s to be treated like it’s own decentralized currency, so why would it’s valie in other currencies cause a casino to lower the max cashout??  It started at .1 100mbtc, which I have cashed out, year and some change ago, and it was at .01 measly 10mbtc before they lowered it when bitcoin was worth about twice and more what it is now! It’s bullshit if you ask me, and after I complained, they showed me by not issuing my loyalty bonus any the next couple Friday’s... Thays the one and the major downfall of Bitstarz.. Everything else is GradeA+

oh bitstarz, we used to be so close..............i used to deposit here with some regularity & would get a bonus for free spins about once a week. this went on for several months at least. then, one day, they stopped coming for some reason. i wasn't depositing or playing any less & in fact, increased my deposits briefly thinking maybe that was why I was no longer qualified for the bonus that I had been receiving every week since signing up. eventually opened a support chat to ask what was going on & what needed to happen to keep receiving the bonus. the agent i spoke to was MIKE who didn't answer my question and was pretty rude in the response he did give. all he kept saying was that i was "not guaranteed a bonus". i said i understood & explained the circumstances & asked what i could do to receive a bonus again....do i need to deposit more? different variations of "you aren't guaranteed a bonus & never were" was the only response i got again and again. it felt very condescending & borderline rude & damn inconsiderate. eventually, i told him i understood i wasn't getting a bonus & asked if he could simply tell me if my account status had changed or did they just stop sending out bonuses......he said i was just taking the conversation in circles, the the conversation was a waste of his time & that he was going to end the chat.......

keep in mind i deposited there quite often at the time & still was treated badly, in my opinion. i know that i am not entitled to any bonuses no matter what or where i deposit. they don't owe me anything. being treated this way by a rep though is why i no longer play here & why i encourage others to consider playing somewhere else. MIKE is rude and arrogant and a very, VERY poor excuse for casino rep. AVOID BITSTARZ! DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY! play somewhere else that appreciates their players. play anywhere that MIKE isn't a rep.

Well, beware that right now i am putting on my thin foil hat. Ok once that is stated, when i play on bitstarz with deposited funds i pretty much never win. A little bit here and there once in a while but that's pretty much it. But then i get their freebies with capped wins and of course i rip most of the time but once in a while they just go nonsense crazy, like hittin 2000x on book of dead or the explorer lines left and right. I mean it feels like i am getting the things i should've had normally but only when it's on capped winnings. My thin foil hat is wondering if this is a way to follow the rtp of the game but in a way to avoid paying when i hit big?

I have been around telling people for a while that one of my dream would be to visit slot providers and learn everything about how they work and such to know exactly what is possible and what is not. Of course it will never happen because they don't want us to know. All we can do is put thin foil hat on, make up stories, be looked at like we are fools and ignored while casinos continue to take our money and laugh. But yeah i can see a huge difference between happy slots with raw deposit and happy slots with capped wins free spins.

I think it's amazing the number of "coincidences" that happen with online gambling. My thin foil hat has lots of work these days but i keep hoping hehe.

So, just as the PM that I replied to you on, here's our side of the story :)

You received a Friday Loyalty bonus from Nick, which is a bonus that is bound by the max cashout rule as per our terms and conditions. All players have to abide by this rule who are not VIP players as they have a separate deal set up. As you're not a VIP player, the max cashout is enforced on your account I'm afraid.

To everyone reading this, I totally sympathize with the fact that you wish to cashout the full amount of your winnings of this loyalty bonus, but bear in mind that this is clearly stated in our terms and conditions that this particular rule apply. Also, this is bonus money that you got from us without any need to do anything. It's simply a goodwill that you didn't ask for, nor had to do anything to get, hence it's essentially free money. And even though you didn't get an unlimited amount of it, at the end of the day, it's free cash money to withdraw or play for as you please.

Also, I believe Mike on support gave you double what is stated in the terms and conditions as an additional goodwill.

I also want to point out that this statement makes me a bit worried. With all due respect, it's important to me that you can handle both winnings and losses, and behavior like the one you described above is not a sign of a healthy gaming behavior. I urge you to take a break or put limits on your accounts to ensure you can handle gambling responsibly.

I have known this capped max cashout rule of Direx nv casino since the their existence. It is mandatory to read the tnc before claiming the bonus. It is indeed ridiculous when the max cashout is lower than the bonus money but unfortunately there's always rules attached to any bonuses.

The max cashout is low but it's free money.  You do not have to use the bonus if you think it's not worth your time.  I've gotten many free hours of entertainment from the Friday Loyalty Bonus.

I've had ups and downs in my overall view of Bitstarz in the time I've been actively playing there.

I will second the notion that live support can be a bit of a coin toss. Just my own personal experience and perspective of course, but to me it's "heads" I get Chris, who may or may not have the answer I'm hoping for, but always has a pleasant demeanor and is polite and courteous. "tails" I get Mike.. who even if he has the answer I'm hoping for, I'm happy to end the conversation as quickly as possible and typically find myself "shaking off" the impression the interaction left on me.

But lets be honest, the same is true just about anywhere. Perhaps why some direx sites opt for numbers for their reps instead of names, doesn't stick in the memory as well.. usually.. (but, if you're talking to number 5, send them my regards and well wishes!)

While I have at times found myself questioning what formula is used to determine the size of various bonuses (i.e. why did I get less when I had more deposits and no withdrawals then when I deposited less and had withdrawals) or when one qualifies as a VIP (have played less elsewhere to be recognized more) I still have only praise for the volume and frequency of bonuses offered to the average player. Friday loyalty, Second Chance spins, Holiday freebies, etc etc etc. and let's not forget Wednesday Free Spins, which correct me if I'm wrong are still no max cashout...  

I've even gone as far as suggesting that Bitstarz sets the bar that other Direx sites strive to meet (though lately there are some strong contenders in the Direx stable pushing to be the favourite in that particular horserace)

At the end of the day, it's player's choice. Vote with your wallet for your preferred site. In a perfect world, the deserving will thrive and the rest will sink... but even in an imperfect world, you'll still be happy with where you allocated your entertainment budget.

I feel the exact way as you, if I have to deposit to earn this loyalty bonus, how is it a freebie?? Seems like Bitstarz needs to think about the wording in multiple areas of their business.

Yeah well if that means that they stop giving freebies away because everyone is complaining then i don't see where is the deal. I mean they drop in so many free spins left and right when you are a regular that they would go bankrupt. They have to set limits and such. But i do understand high rollers might feel like it's garbage compared to what they play but to me getting an extra 100 euros from free spins really is a thing.

Lol something just happened to me on Bitstarz and i instantly tought about this post. I think some might have a little laugh and toughts about my pity struggle LOL. I had my wednesday free spins drop and did btc spins i had on madame destiny on 0.025 mbtc bet. I hit the bonus and retriggered it with 5 scatters for a total win of 1600x. So from 0.025 mbtc bet spins i got 40 mbtc. That i have to wager 40x so i need to wager 1.6 BTC or 1600 mbtc for a maximum cashout possible of 5 mbtc. So in other words with 40mbtc i have to wager 320 times the maximum cash out if i want to cash out something. When i hit the thing i instantly been happy and then tought, oh my what kind of stuff i just got into. That kind of thing really put things in perspective all of a sudden. This is your typical response from any Bitstarz staff ..."it's in the terms and conditions" 

"It's free money" as directly quoted from above...but it's not? Is it? It is in fact based off of deposits made in the prior week. If you made no deposits there is no "Loyalty" bonus so it's NOT free. 

Then finally they always love finishing things off by attacking the character or words used by it's frustrated customers. "Mayve you should take a break" "learn to take the wins and losses" blah blah blah as they sit back and collect, rely on their terms and conditions and gaslight their customer base. It's pure greed! You never hear about the great experience someone had at Bitstarz or how their customer service was outstanding and their very kind and gracious. Not a chance.  Never something your ever going to hear because all they care about is their bottom line and making their customers feel like their crazy lol

I mean, with all due respect :) you make it seem like "it's in the terms" is not a valid argument, but it actually is, you know?

Just to address some of the things you mentioned. Friday Bonus is not based on deposit (for what it's worth), and the fact that we encourage players to take a break when they're furstrated is something I believe is a good thing :) So instead of trying to encourage someone who's upset to gamble further, we introduce the idea of stepping away and cool off a bit. 

As to the comment about not hearing anyone saying anything good about BitStarz, I'm not sure where you've been looking :) although there's always going to be people with good and bad experiences anywhere you look, just taking a look at our Trustpilot would indicate otherwise.

Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, and that include yours too.
