I just discovered a way to build a bankroll with no money at Tux Poker (USA OK)! Here are the details:

Note: Limit of 10 x Funstep1 Coupon purchases each day. The counter will reset at 00:00 server time.

You will be awarded the coupon FUNSTEP1SNG, this coupon will permit you to enter the Sit'n'Go tournament called "Fun Step 1" in the Tournaments >> Sit N Go >> Hold'em tab.

The winner of the Fun Step 1 tournament will receive a coupon called FUNSTEP2SNG which should be used to gain entry to the "Fun Step 2" tournament.

The winner of the Fun Step 2 tournament will receive a coupon called FUNSTEP3SNG which should be used to gain entry to the "Fun Step 3" tournament.

The winner of the Fun Step 3 tournament will receive $1 real money, to be used in the real money games and tournaments.

Just a quick update... I just won the Funstep1 Tourney and have a ticket to play in the Funstep2 tourney! With any luck I should soon have a $1 bankroll! LOL

Thanks for the post Katt - I should add for those not familiar, you can "buy" the tickets by clicking on "Player Admin" in your lobby.  Once the web page has loaded.  Click on My Account and then Play Money.  At that point, you will see the option as outlined by Katt to buy the Funstep 1 tickets.

I started playing them about a year ago,mostly thru merge and won step 3 a few times.I haven't played them lately but I might start again :)

I have noticed that quite a few players go all-in right away,maybe because they are free and they want to build up their stack.
