Americas Cardroom wants to reward their frequent Sit & Go players. So playing lots of these will make more sense in just a few weeks. Soon, they will be taking a portion of the tournament fee and use it to fuel a Sit & Go Progressive Points Race.
For example, in a $10 + $1 Sit & Go or On-Demand Tournament, $0.75 of the $1 fee will go to the house and $0.25 will go to the Progressive Points Race. For every $1 contributed you earn 5 points. The more you play, the more points you'll earn. They expect the first month to exceed $60,000 in prizes!
At the end of every month, players who rank on the leaderboard will get rewarded with cash and tournament seats. The more points you earn, the more cash you'll earn. And the best thing is that all you need to do is play Sit & Gos.
By using a portion of the tournament fees they are creating a new concept that has absolutely no extra cost to the player. That is in fact every poker player's dream!
