The New Year Downtown Countdown begins Thursday Dec. 31 starting at 5:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. at Fremont Street Experience. 
Tribute Palooza Party will feature 13 of the best tribute bands including: Rio (Duran Duran), Generation Idol (Billy Idol), Fan Halen (Van Halen), No Duh (No Doubt), Red Not Chili Peppers (Red Hot Chili Peppers), The Rising (Bruce Springsteen), Police Experience (The Police), Rockin the Paradice (Styx), Wanted (Bon Jovi), The Who Generation (The Who) Pyromania (Def Leppard), Double Vision (Foreigner) and Don’t Look Back (Boston).
Admittance to the Downtown Countdown New Year’s Eve is $30 each and can be purchased online until Dec. 25 and goes up on Dec. 26 to $40. Tickets also available in-person at any of the Fremont Street Experience member hotel-casinos, or at the event gates on Dec. 31.

Checking in on night one... Spent about $70 but cashed this out before dinner tonight.
After the BJ tables toyed with me for a couple hours, I am only up about $20 but that is a win for me! Now it's bed time! It's 2:30 a.m. & I have to be downstairs & in the Convention Center in less than 6 hours, so GOOD NIGHT!
