I would be terrified  . Beautiful building though ,if it was a bit lower to the ground ,say 2nd floor  .

I'm both terrified and amazed by tall buildings. If I ever win at that casino, I wouldn't mind going on top of it.

Not true, utilizing "grey-water" from the sinks, bathtubs and showers of the hotel which is then filtered, cleaned and chlorinated is used. Just don't let your mind wonder if toilet water is recycled.....the answer is NO!

                I know the Golden Nugget casino in the downtown area used to have the world's largest gold nugget  in a glass case in the lobby.  Wonder if they still have it ?    Saw it in the mid 90's ,  very impressive rock I must say.

Real gold dust! Quite amazing.  Is it possible to scrub it off?

I really want to know where they heck they come up with these names.  I'm sure it has some sort of symbolic meaning.  Yet really, Ono.

Sometimes when I play blackjack in the high limit room at my local casino there are very high rollers playing.  They bet a minimum of $500 a hand and I am betting $25-$50.  They are very jovial and have a lot of fun win or lose.  A couple times a guy was winning lots and wanted to buy the table a shot.  I declined as I am not a drinker, but the guy said "King Louie shots all around."  A couple guys had them and I found out they cost $89 a shot!  I can't imagine paying that kind of money for a shot of booze.  It must be very good!!

I agree with lipstick. For a guy who plays 4-7$ hold'em tournaments this sounds crazy. Put the point in gambling is to play your game doesn't matter in which amount of money you are playing to.

Imagine that with all of the drinks they give away in Vegas.  I'm sure they go through quite a bit of stuff that's makes the drinks what they are.

Hell even when I played in Council Bluffs they gave away drinks like they were candy.

I have been to Council Bluffs and yes the drinks are generous for sure. I stayed at Harrah's and was not crazy about it. Liked Ameriastar Casino much better. At Horseshoe i played a penny 100 hand Video Poker and got dealt 4 aces......ah that was sweet  .

Louis XIII ~ I bought this bottle in 1998 & it was a little over $2k. I was 21 years old & had just come into an large sum of money. I would never buy this today ($3k today). What a waste of money, right? The worst part about it? I don't even drink Cognac! It's disgusting! I googled my Louis XIII remnants & turns out the box and empty bottle sell for $800-$1200. Of course, I have no idea where my bottle may be? I thought it was in this box still!

I guess the fact that each carafe is numbered by hand is pretty cool, but DID YOU NOTICE WHAT LETTERS MY SERIAL NUMBER STARTS WITH? B S - Yes I think bullshit is exactly what they are selling! I could have bought 1000 bottles of Stoli vodka with that money! lol

Wow that is way cool Jenna! It is a shame you can't find the bottle. I have a bottle of  Elvis wine that i have never opened that is supposedly the collectible from his manager Colonel Parker. But it was no where near the value of yours.
