    Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas is sadly closely their doors forever on May 4th 2015. April 20th will mark the 60th anniversary of this legendary Casino. It was sold in February for a reported $191 million by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

    I remember my parents staying there when i was kid and kinda sad to see it go  sad

    Isle of Capri Casino Natchez, Mississippi Closed



    The Isle of Capri Casino in Natchez, Mississippi, closed its doors for good on Sunday October 18th, 2015 at 12:00 noon . The casino opened up two decades and was one of the longest reining gambling river boats in the state.

    The Casino Holding Investment Partners group acquired the property for $11.5 million. The hotel will be closed for a few days while the new owners install a new computer system and other work that needs to be done before it opens next week.

    Renovations are reported to take about 30 days to complete as hotel rooms will be remodeled one floor at a time so others floors can remain occupied, taking a projected completion in four months.

    It has not been determined whether or not the casino floor which is a barge with a riverboat replicated on top will remain a well as the barge's location.
