  • Hello,

Why like read a book? Whats is your favourite?
    I liked :

    Pablo Escobar MyFather,

    The Life of Pablo Escobar,

    God Always Travels Incognito

  • The books I really like are mostly not readable such as Book of Dead, Book of Egypt etc.thumbs_up

  • One of the first book i read was "Robinson Crusoe", and I still remember my excitement and interest.

Now i prefer S. King and Pelevin, but if you ask about most favorite book, it will be Daniel Defoe`s masterwork.

  • David Nicholls "One day", it is a very intersting book, you will read it in one day

  •      I like detectives very much. The first detective I read was the murder of Agatha Christie on the Orient Express, and then I began to devour all the detectives !!! So I can write myself)))))

  • My favorite is The Fountainhead - Ayn Rand is a Best Seller novel. I like the personality of the protagonist. A young Architect who designs modernist, he is so passionate and loves what he does that nothing in this world will make him change what he believes.

  • It's such a difficult question because I love to read. I cannot single out just one, but I would always gladly recommend Anne Of Green Gables Books (there are many sequels) if you are hoplessly romantic or you appreciate high-quality books (both TV series and books) and Neil Gaiman as a wonderfully talented writer who has such a vivid imagination, just like me :D

  • Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close

    The Minds of Billy Milligan

    The Godfather

  • My favourite classic book is "Madame Bovary" and "On the road" my favourite for modern litterature.

  • Would have to be a trilogy of books called the dark elf trilogy. By author R.A Salvatore. For those into fantasy books, this would be the pinnicle.

  • Behold A Pale Horse by William Cooper.

if you want soime truth about the way things work..this book will inform you, and you really should know.

  • my favorite one is "The Stand: The Complete and Uncut Edition" by Stephen King. The book is really multi-faceted, full of philosophy, metaphors, and religion, yet it is still an undeniably one of the Stephen King books, rich in his unique style. It is also one of his most monumental works.

  • My favorite book is Shantaram. Gripping story. Beautiful descriptions of India and its people. The book is philosophical as well. I will quote one of the phrases in order to interest you more:

One of the reasons why we crave love, and seek it so desperately, is that love is the only cure for loneliness, and shame, and sorrow. But some feelings sink so deep into the heart that only loneliness can help you find them again.

  • My favourite writer. Read almost all the books, this one is certainly the best.

  • Hi guys, I read books since I was in college waiting for my classes and my favorite one is "The Fault in Our Stars" by John Green sad This book is amazing, beautiful and thoughtful. Of many I have read it has seemed very incredible despite how completely simple the whole story is. It leaves a lot to think about because I didn't stop crying when I was finishing the book angel

  • from the last I read the book by Dale Carnegie (How to make friends and influence people)

like to read books (robert kiyosaki)

  • The name of the wind, of Patrick Rothfuss.

It's a really adictive book that gets you instantly and make you want to read it till the end. It leaves you with the feel that you just finished a journey and learnt something really important. Highly recomended

  • My favorite book is "Cien años de soledad" or "One hundred years of solitude" by Gabriel García Márquez. I read it for the first time when I was in school. I did it as a part of a literature homework. In the beggining, I thought it was boring. But as I continued with the reading, I started fell in love with the book.

I think I had read it about eight or nine times. And I'm pretty sure I will do it again because with every new reading I discover new details about the story.

    Please read this amazing book.

  • Thanks for sharing it with us, Nelebana. I also read recommendations for this book. heart I'll definitely read it.

  • Hard to pick a favourite, but I would definitely recommend giving "Flowers for Algernon" a shot.

  • I am an avid reader. I am parial to historic romance and horror but i will read anything. My last book was Under the Dome by Stephen King . It captured my attention from beginning to end.  Another book was The Stand also Stephen King. I think i will read that one again.

  • Lately I like books by Fredrik Bakman.

  • Before i go to sleep by S.J Watson.

  • For me it's the original "Dracula" by Bram Stoker. One of the most iconic books in history hands down

  • The most favorite books i like are all steven kings. the thing on the doorstep, It by Steven King, the man in the black suit, the cats eye, Carrie, rage, cujo and many more. all of his stories have a beginning mystery. I just love them.

The Thing on the Doorstep is by H.P. Lovecraft, and by accident it's one of my favorite stories from him cheesy

  • Сarlos castaneda : the way of the warrior

  • I read a lot and picking just one favourite book is not going to work for me.  But the top 3 on my long list of favourite books are:

    3. The " Culture" novels by Ian Banks

    2. The ' Rivers of London ' series by Ben Aaronovitch

    1. All the books by Neal Stephenson

  • My personal favorite is Hiperion by Den Simons. Sci-fi drama with a really good ending.

  • Paulo Coelho The Fifth Mountain

  • I like his "The Devil and Ms Prym" book. At first, I thought it would be like SinCity Casino kind of story, but it has a lot of layers. It gave this notion (at least for me) that life is not just two-sided (if you're not good, then your automatically bad, etc), there could be in between, and these might be the solution in our life?problem.
