hey guys, I thought I better throw in my 3 cents, before this thread gets all out of wack, lol. I went through all the pages, theres is alot of good music posted, sum real duds, but you folks have straight up missed some of the biggest love songs of the 50's, 60's, 70's etc. From what I've read, the love song topic, seems to be the main part of this paticular thread, (even though it is not mentioned in the original post). Let me know if I'm wrong, I'll certainly apologize. But if what I've read is true, the majority of the posts, are behind the past and current top 40 bee-bop numbers, that come n go, and unfortunately are not considered classic at all.
I would need help, in truely bringing this music to this thread, since I don't know how, and I don't have a problem doing it, if that is the general opinion.
OK, I'm not getting on anyone here, lol, I'm offering help, if you folks truely want to here the best love songs of the era, I'll do it, I just need a hand.

Hi Imag, Ok cool, then I picked the thread apart, let's say to far. I enjoy music alot, lol. It has been, and will remain apart of my life, as long as I can take a breath. My area of knowledge is when the music changed over from what used to be called champagne music, to early rock n roll through the 90's. I just couldn't get into the heavy metal, and rap.
You may be aware, that there are several of the champagne era songs, that we're redone in the rock n roll era, and then and only after the songs remake, we're they considered classics. I didn't see any of those songs mentioned, wait a minute, one of them was, but it was sung by someone, who didn't do the song justice, lol.
Anyway, as I said, I picked this thread apart, and I shouldn't have. My apology. As you said, it was a post in general terms.
I'll keep my eyes open for a thread, regarding speacific era songs, groups, and individual singers, and then we can talk, lol.
